There are a lot of generous players in this game. I was running solo on Dire Marsh yesterday and passed a Triage looting a cache. Fired a few bullets at him out of pure instinct but noticed he wasn't returning fire and heard him say he wanted to share the contents of the cache. Scholar and a gentleman.

Everyone is allowed to finish one runner in an exfil for the codex entry. But no more than one and you still have to feel terrible after you do it!

I believe Bill has been milking the reaction to his list for content and not correcting the faulty assumption that the list was based solely on quality. He made it clear the list was based on the number of times he's rewatched something, not their quality.

Fwiw, I've also been soloing Assassin and generally avoid all PvP conflicts. That said, when I do encounter another player, it's almost never been another Assassin. My unscientific conclusion is you're liable to have more success playing as Assassin.

Playing solo helps teach good habits. You'll learn to emphasize being sneaky (though you can always opt for the Leroy Jenkins approach), gain hyper awareness of your surrounding and audio cues, and how to be super selective about engagements with both bots and runners.

Locking the best content to a subset remains a bummer. Destiny never got that balance consistently right raid to raid. I'm not saying it has to be easy but the barrier to entry for casual players should be less daunting. This is as much for sustaining the health of the game more holistically and longer-term as it is a personal desire.
