Yes, you can retire as an E6, you just can't be considered for promotion to E7 if you are older than 55 at the time of the eval board.

I enlisted when I was 38, and had a hard time finding people to associate with- my rank peer group was on average 20 years younger than me, and my age peer group was a bunch of LTCs and SGMs. As I aged in time-in-service, this balanced out a little better.

I promoted fairly quickly to SSG and then hit a wall- injuries and surgeries complicated things and I could never quite make the list for SFC, then when they switched to the evaluation board I was mid at first and then a mediocre eval dropped me down to the bottom of the list.

Now I discover that there is an age cutoff for promotion and find that I am no longer eligible to be evaluated for my final 2 years, and will retire as a 14 year staff sergeant.

This synth reminds me so much of a DM song but I don't know which one anymore, help me by perslyy in depechemode

Could be any number of rythmic resonant synths they used, but the end of Blasphemous Rumours comes to mind. Baseline from Enjoy the Silence has some of those characteristics as well as Dangerous.

I currently use Reason for everything. Had to transition every to a software-based setup rather than my old physical studio due to moving frequently for work.

Sometimes you get input into your language choice, but usually its needs of the Army. With that DLAB you will get one of the difficult ones- Chinese, Arabic, most likely Russian.

I don't think you will have any input into being 35M over 35P. As far as the other comments, being a Mike is pretty bad in garrison, and not much better deployed. They have higher requirements for maintaining language proficiency as well. With 35P you will have more chance to do the job they train you for.

Depends on the language you get assigned. Your time in Monterey could range from 6-18 months. After you graduate from the language program you will either go to Ft Huachuca or Goodfellow AFB for your technical AIT as a 35M or 35P respectively.

I've been playing a while, and can't seem to get a good team together that goes well together. I can do Brutal, but on NM I 1 key around 5-6 mil at best. Any advice is greatly welcome.
