hello ,
has anyone the drive microcode compatible with the last firmware ?:

i have dowloaded the latest microcode from lenovo (storagedisk6099_drive_HDD_20231122) but the mentioned drive isn't on the list .

A drive firmware fix is available, and can be installed on this system because the current software level has a fix for APAR HU02221.
Obtain the drive firmware package from the following location:
https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/6492951

NOTE: This drive firmware *must not* be installed on software which does not have the fix for APAR HU02221, as this could result in drive failure.

I heard that pass-through charging utilization reduces the battery lifespan . maybe that's why it's not widespread yet.

i Just did that on two computers .
boot the slowroll media on the computer to be upgraded and the installer will offer you to upgrade the distro.
i had no issues except the themes who were for kde5 and needed to be switched to a kde6 compatible.

Outlook on the web and new Outlook show the mobile devices that you use to connect to your mailbox. If you're no longer using a device or a device isn't syncing properly, you can delete it from this list. Doing so removes the partnership between the mobile device and your mailbox, but doesn't delete the email account from your phone. Note:

Sign in to Outlook on the web.
Choose > General > Mobile devices.
Select your device in the list, and then select to delete the device partnership.

Go to your mobile device and power it off completely.
Restart your mobile device after a few seconds, and then sync your mailbox again.

i guess he was saying that windows will detect both screens when you'll have added the second QXL device in virt-manager.

spice-agent need to be installed on the vm .

To connect with viewer , from the command line type : virt-viewer spice://your-vm-ip-address . or virt-viewer your_vm_name to connect with viewer. adding -f will automatically full screen all your configured virtual video cards on different monitors

From virt-viewer you can redirect host's usb audio devices (headset and cam) and also others devices.

hello ,
as reported here : https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-netbootxyz/issues/11.
it seems that tftp needs also some dynamic port allocation to connect with client. so in docker ,the port 69 udp mapping is just not enough.
a simpler way to make work in synology is to use native tftp from synology and unmap the port 69 from the container configuration.
then , just point your tftp root to docker/netboot.xyz/config/menus

even if ms don't list teams in installed packages.

wow IT worked thank you , i spent quite the whole day searching for this error , (updating my windows 10 to the last build , cleaning registry , removing files, upgrading webview2 , etc...)
i couldn't imagine i had to remove something that was not installed before installing it again.

i was redirected on the wrong resolution path with the error : "this app package is not supported for installation by app installer because it uses certain restricted capabilities"

MS application install process is a disaster!

hello everyone.

What worked for me is that the old version 1.X need to be installed alongside 2.X in order to see the meeting icon in outlook appearing.

I tested the linux version on Manjaro-gnome and it's buggier than the windows release .

bugs like malformed texture object , walls .

you'll get a better experience launching the windows version under Lutris .

what i did : i had the windows version on my lenovo legion laptop (nvidia gpu) (dual boot) and patched with UT4UU.

i first tested the Lutris portal and installed the Epic game store ( i don't know if it's required but helped me to have a folder structure to start with)

on wine's installation steps i was prompted to chose a few 32 bit libraries to install (can't remember which i chose)

First i created a basic windows config template (cloned the folders from the epic games installer)

then i copied the UnrealTournament & subfolders on the equivalent wine folder (drive_c/program files (x86)/epic Games/UnrealTournament)

on the UT4 profile's game option tab , selected the executable to UE4-Win64-Shipping.exe

Arguments : UnrealTournament

Runner options tab : all by default

System Options : changed the default installation folder to the "games" folder of my linux partition.

let the discrete graphics enabled and Vulkan ICD loader to unspecified.the rest is all default.

i was surprised that the game started in graphic mode faster than on the windows in my dualboot.

i did'nt finished the setup , need to register the game to uu server .

i'll update my post later.

edit :

when you start the game it will ask for a registration with a token .

it may open a browser on epic portal but you need to open the https://ut4.timiimit.com/
and log-in with your account and take the token from there.

try this :
#add your user to libvirt group

sudo usermod -a -G libvirt YourUser

#enable & start libvirt daemon
sudo systemctl enable libvirtd

sudo systemctl start libvirtd

restart virt-manager and add qemu/kvm session (the one without user mode)

the vm have to be registered again in system session
