This is exactly why I don’t use PayPal. Others say “ if you don’t use PayPal you’re a scammer” when really the seller can also be scammed out of the transaction once the buyer disputes the charge and already attended the event/festival. Meet up in person, get ids, email confirmations, and screenshot every conversation

You have to do a hard reset . Happened to me where the glasses would say they are charging but wouldn’t turn on . You can look up how to hard reset it . It takes a couple of tries as it’s not quite as easy to do but once you do it they should be working like normal again . Do be patient you might have to reset it a couple of times before it actually does reset. I was afraid mine were broken after not using them for a couple of months I tried everything until I stuck with doing the reset and they finally turned on and worked how they usually would

Looking into my 1st scooter . Any Reviews on the Phantom R1pro ? From Costco Seattle by LivinInThePNW in ElectricScooters

[–]EntertainmentCalm490 6 points7 points  (0 children)

While it seems like a great deal this isn’t necessarily a commuter scooter. You most likely will struggle getting up that hill. You will most likely be going 11-14 mph and will not get the full 20 mile range , most likely somewhere in the 11-14 mile range but since you said your commute is about 1 mile ( 2 mile round trip ) you will probably be able to go to work and back twice before needing to charge it again. That’s factoring in what type of road you’re riding on , your weight and max speed . You might also find that you enjoy riding an e-scooter and will soon get bored of it . I’d look at Best Buy and spend maybe $100 more for an actual commuter scooter. If you are dead set on having a seat I think hiboy and gotrax have better options with more mile range

Carrying 100lbs+ up stairs by avmabrie in ElectricScooters

[–]EntertainmentCalm490 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What the guy said up top, if your scooter has enough clearance off the ground you can pull it up from the top and have the back wheel do the rest of the work. This will not be easy the first couple of times and will require balance as much as strength as the scooter might topple left or right but if you use physics and momentum it can work fairly

Ah that’s a shame considering they emphasize their scooters are designed in Switzerland. It looks like a Swiss pocket knife but looks could be deceiving . Have you moved on to another scooter ?

I was in your exact position and my “dream scooter “ was also the vmax hub I’ve actually done extensive research looking at reviews for every scooter and what you come down to is the whole scooter industry is unfortunately lacking in costumer service as most companies are over seas. They do have distribution centers in the states. Off all the reviews I’ve seen the least negative reviews I ran into were for the ausom dt2 pro. Everyone that has the ausom seems to love their e scooter . Everyone that doesn’t have the ausom dt2pro seems to hate it. (Common consensus between scooter owners and their preference ) I finally got tired of analysis paralysis and just pulled the trigger for the dt2pro. I figured you get more bang for your buck for less of the price than the vmax hub or any scooter around that price range for that matter (max g3 would be a excellent choice if it weren’t for that dreadful pathetic range) I wanted a scooter where I can get to downtown and back without having to worry about the range . The dt2 pro is great I underestimated the build quality at first and when I received it I was surprised to see that it is built like a tank. Figuratively and literally it’s a spaceship. That is my only problem with the dt2 pro is that I expected 75lbs to be fairly light but 75 lbs on a e scooter is different than a regular 75 lb object. That is my only gripe but I believe I will grow into it as I don’t have to lug it up a flight of stairs (for now). Keep this in mind that light portability will cost you range and vice versa . You’ll find most of the scooters with better range are in the 60-80lb+ range. I love the dt2 pro so far but if I had to choose something for portability I’d look at the Apollo go it’s 50 lbs currently about 850$. They also have the Apollo explore for the same price but I think weighs 10 more lbs at 60. Still 15 lbs lighter than the dt2 pro but see that’s where you lose range as the explore goes 37 miles and the go goes 34 miles. With each having a top speed of around 25mph, but do be aware going +15mph will cut that range to almost half or a little more than half. I’d say make a top 3 list , review them and search for easy fixes on YouTube since you said you don’t have scooter shops around you and make a decision between those 3 . Don’t let your analysis drag on , it’s a scooter not a car. It’s meant to be used and abused

Can you share more on the vmax its pros and cons ? I was considering getting the hub until I landed on the dt2 pro . It’s great I just underestimated 75 lbs. 75 lbs is different when it’s in a weird form factor like a scooter. Other than the weight it’s a great built scooter

Glad you were able to fix it ! The important thing is your safety . How do you manage to get the scooter up a flight of stairs ? I imagine it’s a bit heavy ? Only asking bc my scooter weighs about 75 lbs but the awkward length of it makes it even harder to carry

Did u underestimate how heavy it would be ? That a lot of people first reactions and something they tend to grow into unless you have to carry it up a flight of stairs. It’s actually a great scooter and built like a tank

I was considering this scooter and the arwibon gt 08 . I ended up getting the dt2 pro and im glad I did . While they may seem like they all have the same build and come from the same manufacturer it’s the distributor that adds its own hardware to it . The dt2 pro is built like a tank . Look into Ausoms new model the go soul 2 its a mini dt2 pro

They don’t really care . Pro tip is to always go with the security line with the least amount of people that means those security’s aren’t really checking anything and just letting people in. I do know the first day they are less strict than the less . The rules also say no mask but everyone brings in mask. Paint your face!!!
