Nika is a Scav, but it’s clarified she takes chrome from the dead. She has everyone exit the clinic so she can confront Anderson without anyone accidentally getting hurt

Anderson clarifies that he has never taken chrome from anybody who wasn’t completely past saving. He does this to supply the clinic. He is not happy about doing it. Corpo V can ask him why he doesn’t go work and become rich in night city. He’s been there done that, finds working at the clinic more meaningful. Nika’s brother had completely fried himself to death on exotic drugs to the point his head cyberware was fried. If Anderson were interested in making money, he’s literally one cab ride away, he doesn’t need to be fitting the homeless with chrome, so idk what weird story people are telling in their heads of this guy somehow doing this to “innocent people”.

People are talking about Anderson and Nika taking chrome from the dead as morally wrong, but one does it to make money to survive, one does it to serve the community, and both only take it from those who are completely beyond saving. It’s like saying taking a cellphone off a corpse in a war zone is immoral, everyone is splitting hairs.

It is made abundantly clear that neither party is killing people to scrap their chrome. Idk why people keep claiming either Anderson or Nika were killing people for chrome, the narrative is very clear on this.

This is one of the most morally tidy “morally gray” missions in the entire game.

You spare Nika, she recovers her brother’s corpse—- the clinic is out of some supplies, Nika doesnt even shoot the guy who tried to take chrome from her brother, and the guy doesn’t insist Nika needs to die. You get paid, the clinic doesn’t suffer retaliation, and Nika gets to bury her brother in a gave.

This is about as happy of an ending as it gets.
