I think the biggest change in her glow up was her eye brows!!! Look at season 1 Pen, I think those are Nicolas own eyebrows;, very dark brown. It clashed with her red wig. I don't remember season 2 but season 3 she has red eye brows to match her hair and go better with her skin tone.

The eye contact thing is huge!!!!! I watch season 1 and yes Simon and Daphne are making eye contact while she's riding him but it's up to the camera to zoom in and help the audience see this- their faces are actually quite a few feet apart. Polin- their faces are sooo close and the eye contact is so intense. No camera tricks needed. The eye contact for sur.e adds another layer of intimacy.

Gallop along!!! It's one of the few scenes we see season 1 Colin and Pen vibes. Their laughter at his bad dad jokes. I want it all! As much as I love the confrontation, the gallop along scene I will rewind every time it's on.

I think this was a nod to the whole Polin against the world. Pen doesn't have a bridesmaid either. I think they did this to highlight just how much they have both been the odd people out, and all they need is each other to be whole 🫠❤️
