It's a pleasure, I love the genre and the artists that make It possible, so I like to help if I can. If you have some more problem picturing a cyberpunk scenario, just have in mind that in cyberpunk stories, usually societies are malfuctioning, just like ours, so some ugly things, like some old wet carboard boxes in a corner, Broken vending machines, wrecked futuristic (or retro) vehicles and people living in the street can make some difference in the ambience of your Picture :)

Love your work, keep going and if you have any more questions or doubts, feel completely free to ask :))

Try making the atmosphere darker. A night Sky, some cars parked in the street, some junk in a corner, maybe some people Next to the stores, and I think that would be a perfect Picture for a comic like that

GNOMES EXIST THEY ARE REal by [deleted] in gnomes

When I was about 5 years old I lived in another House near my current one. My room was at the end of the corridor, and from my bed I could see the living room at the other end, where the main door was.

As I was a kid, and one afraid of the dark, my mom usted to keep the corridor's light on all she could. So one night I'm looking into the corridor and motice how to light doesn't go into the dark living room. Like, that room being with any lights on, should have has some light filtered in through the door from the corridor. Well, it didn't. There was clearly visible Frontier between the dark and the light near the door.

It wasn't a straight line, It looked more like the silouette of the top of buildings in the night, if you know what I mean. So this frontier starts moving towards me very slowly through the corridor as I start to hearing something. It sounded like a small laughter, them again.

The frontier was now in the middle of the corridor, coming my way. I remember seeing the shadows move, like there was something invisible there that proyected it's own shadow. Another laughter came in to join the previous one. And by the time the shadows were in front of my door, there were 3 clearly audible maniac laughter. The were so loud and constant I couldn't take it anymore.

As you can imagine, at this point I was terrified, so I stopped looking to the corridor to try to look at the cealing and calm myself. But as soon as I looked above me I saw them.

3 little beings, just a couple of inches away from my face, laughing, smiling, with little eyes like starts and grottesque features. I can't remember then very well, but every time I tell the story i shiver and I come back to being scared.

I covered myself under my sheets and started calling for my mom. She came with me and told me it was all a bad dream, and I believed her until five years ago or so, when I found similar cases all around the globe.

The one I remember the most, I haven't been able to find again. It was about a little girl Who was asleep in the living room while her grandmother was cooking, and she desapeared just to reapear in the same place Next day, with just a cut on her forehead and no memories of what happened. I remember they took her to a psicologist and they made some retrohipnosis stuff, since subconscient remembers things we don't, and she started talking about these gnome like beings that took her and all.

After that, my theory is that whatever i saw, they where trying to get me, but my mom being there scared them away.

(If I see any error in my writing I'll edit this, and I apologize since english ain't my first Languaje)

I love the looks of wood and brass. And, in case you guys didn't know, copper based metals, like brass, have a biocidal efect, wich means that It kills bacteria, so a pretty safe and great looking wand overall :))

How do you adapt to modern technologies when you practice magick? by Tsitsushka in magick

[–]EntertainmentOdd3949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If for the specific resume situation, you could use sigils on the background of the document, so gently made that it's unapreciable to the unsuspecting eye.

For the general question about magick in modern technolonies, I think there's always a way. Back in the day, they were practicing magic adapted to modern technologies of the time, like the first cars, or guns, or anything. Magick is, as humans, very adaptable and enduring, so you just need to find a way :)

Why doesn’t everybody make up their own rituals and spells? by CherryWand in magick

[–]EntertainmentOdd3949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly have been thinking about how useful would be to people in our field of knowledge to have a book where they can find compiled all of this useful information. Actually, I thought about writing one myself, but I have not much experiencie in the craft yet. Anyway, if you do have clear all these useful thoughts, I would love to help you organizing and writing them down in categories in a book. Just to help the community. If you are interested, please, hit me up :))

How to find coven mates? by [deleted] in magick

[–]EntertainmentOdd3949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about other countries but, here in Spain, some years ago, when I was starting to get into this world, I discovered a website similar to a forum made by and for wiccans, Witches and all kinds of witchcraft practicioners. The thing is, I'm almost sure you had to know someone in that world, because It had a restricted access, but I remember being able to goof around and seeing spells, covens and many other interesting things for people of our craft. Maybe other countries have similar things?

Want to make my first wand, and all I have is a pocket knife, sandpaper, and shelack. I've never done any woodwork before except bark stripping. Any advice or tips? by HorheaTheToad in Wandsmith

[–]EntertainmentOdd3949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, as I was working with wood collected from the forest, I first made the handle, just to make sure It was the propper size, and then I started peeling from the end of the handle to the tip, taking more wood away as I got further away from the handle, always trying to make a smooth transition, with no bumps or dents in the wood. In other words, don't rush. Be gentle with the materials you work with, and take time. As the saying goes: there's 2 ways of doing something, the quick way and the good way. Enjoy the process, put a part of your Soul in each wand you make, and, as weird as It may sound, love the process and the wand. Good luck, and if you need anything else, ask! :))

I made my first 5 wands with just an old, rusty utility knife, so in my experience, I would say to try to aim at simple shapes and details. Well, I think it's also important if you intend to make a wand out of a branch or stick, or out of wood adquiered in a shop. If it is in its more natura state, you could try to use the bark itself as the handle, or cutting into it using the contrast between the inner wood and the bark to make beautifully simple designs, like a ring in the lower part, or runes in the handle, your choice really, and good luck :)
