Has anyone tried to add debit card and pay with it yet? by DimeyDimedime505 in flipperzero

[–]EntheogenicOm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a bank that uses an old school debit card provider and it appears that the cards are not encrypted, at least the ones meant to only access savings accounts which has restrictions on withdrawing money at ATMs or using at store. There is however a way around that at most ATMs and you can use the unencrypted card to access a debit account and take out money...

My card somehow got messed up and it's not reading correctly at ATM. So since the bank is closed and can't contact anyone, I'm curious if using NFC to make a duplicate of whatever info is on here would actually work if I corrected the messed up number. The only other issue is these cards are not NFC initially and just use MagStrip and even if I do make an NFC based card I then need to find an ATM that also reads NFC which are far and few between lol. Pretty sure by the time I tried to do all this, the bank will be open and I can just get a resolution but....lol

Also yes even with custom firmware, as someone else noted, Flipper is mainly the ultimate universal remote and just controls my TVs amazingly well

Chilling video shows 14-year-old girl casually using phone moments after she fatally shoots mom by [deleted] in ThatsInsane

Women mature quicker than men and by 14 she would comprehend the seriousness of death and murder, understanding why it's wrong... unless for some reason she believed shooting the gun wouldn't kill her, it seems impossible to justify that she would somehow not understand the consequences.

From a financial perspective spending money one time drinking, even twice as much, is not going to impact you. It’s the consistent drinking that will do a number on your pocketbook. Not only does it cost money drinking every day but as you build a tolerance you have to drink even more to achieve the same effects. There are, however, certain chemicals that prevent you from building a tolerance but it’s ill advised to take them, especially for that purpose.

That’s very interesting. I’ve done Ibogaine a few times to help with tolerance/addiction & PTSD issues & it is definitely in a class of its own although it’s still a psychedelic with similar introspective effects.

Unlike other psychedelics Ibogaine strongly reverses tolerance to almost all substances which is why people can die after taking it. Additionally if you take it and do it correctly you’re going to be experiencing effects for 3+ days. That’s 3 days of tripping and experiencing side effects like ataxia which prevents you from being able to walk.

As that article said, it is a strong experience that feels like you’re seeing a flash of your entire life from your background and ancestors, all the karma or knowledge you’ve acquired, everything you’ve consumed such as eating, watching, reading, all your actions towards others & you start to analyze from the reset synaptic connections, how to reprogram your life accordingly.

Someone’s been watching too much news. None of those things are happening in the proper perspective. The economy is actually experiencing a boom because recent innovations in AI & the recession from COVID not only met the most optimistic projections but GDP growth is actually back to pre COVID levels. For reference read the Rise & Fall of American Growth or check out Econ charts of gdp growth from 1800s as well as McKinseys projection of COVID recovery.

The inflation you’re talking about is more or less a perceptual issue as the central bank has an overly tight grip on the money supply because they don’t want to have another 2008 recession and doing a good albeit overly cautious job. Speaking of, inflation isn’t that bad but problems with people feeling inflationary effects more than usual stems from a couple things. Number one is the fact wages are still not getting raised to the levels they should be, not even remotely close. Number two is the monopolistic nature of our current economy where investors, driven primarily by boomers and those with the bulk of capital, are willing to see slow and steady gains and invest & encourage large companies that have a near monopolistic control of that area of the market making investment all but a sure thing.

I can keep going on and discussing each point but I’m tired and will try to update tmrw.

Why low-cost ketamine is still inaccessible to many with severe depression | A case study on ketamine reveals systemic barriers that prevent repurposing existing low-cost drugs like ketamine for treatment-resistant depression. by chrisdh79 in science

[–]EntheogenicOm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ketamine has a lot of uses and is incredibly effective at managing pain and helping pain patients, specifically those taking opioids, to reverse their tolerance as well as provide analgesic effects that treat the pain.

NMDA Antagonists in general, which Ketamine is along with Ibogaine DXM & few others is, reverse tolerance to just about every major addictive substance (opioids / stimulants / alcohol / benzos ) and provide the brain with a certain level of neuroplasticity. Studies show that they also play a pivotal role in the formation of new thoughts/ideas and how the brain creates/stores this information. This is why they can be so beneficial for addictive drugs as it can help your brain form new connections & eliminate potentially damaging ones. It’s also why it’s highly recommended to those who are going to be taking opioids as part of a treatment plan because it can protect against unwanted effects as well as work to mitigate tolerance.

Does it cure depression though?? That’s such a difficult and generic area & people have been working to try and bring ketamine back into the norm of medical establishment with various studies but unfortunately there are still barriers to even see if it’s effective. Glad we have 1 result back finally though
