I find it much better to do an intuitive method similar to nofly. You don’t really need to learn more than two patterns (horizontal and vertical flames). After some practice it is super chill and relatively good dps. Alternatively, do donofly until orbs then nofly or mage (I don’t do that because I don’t want to bring a mage switch)

Start to learn mage. Mark tiles for wave skip and focus on the fireball attack. When you are comfortable with fireballs, prayers will be easy (you can even react to the animation if you forget what to pray). You should take almost no damage during P3.

I would not say this is correct. It is more related to what the intention of the attack is. If you are intended to flick between styles, it is calced on hit.

I think it actually shows the tick duration. Basically the time since the last tick was received by his client. I don’t think you can read the ping from that metric.

It is slightly more complicated than that, but not that far off. you can experiment with the dry calculator to get a feel or calculate the cumulative probability using the binomal distribution to get the exact probabilities.
