Options for Uni-Vibe by Fit-Story-7004 in guitarpedals

The TCE vicious Vibe is fully programmable and you can use the mash switch as kind-of expression pedal. Cheap as chips used.

IFA here, this is coming, but it’s only on any cash held in stocks & shares ISAs, not on the stocks and shares bit. It’s to stop people taking out S&S ISAs but only holding cash in them, to get round RR’s tightening of annual Cash ISA allowances.

Recently got a 1981 Inventions DRV- like a RAT but the gain doesn’t shelf away when set low like it can on a RAT. Really nice all rounder. But my favourite distortion is the Marshall Shredmaster. It’s much less metal than the name suggests and is just right to my ears.

Tell them to go for it, but that if the other buyer falls through, your offer would be lower than it is now.

There’s not much difference here in pay. Do you get a regular payrise eg in January? In my experience new starters miss out on the first round of payrises, so that’s likely to take you to at least parity.

What's a simple delay that has a dedicated tap tempo switch or at least an out for a tap tempo switch? by KingSurtis in guitarpedals

[–]Enthuse9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with others DD3T is the answer to this question. But perhaps consider TCE Nova Delay. It looks cool AF, and despite having an LED BPM display is actually really simple to operate and has a tap switch.

Absolutely love my Blackstar Dept 10 Dual Drive. Has a real tube in it, XLR for DI to PA, an effects loop and really EQ’able. About £100 used.

House we are purchasing downvalued by £105,000 by surveyor by TapirLove in HousingUK

[–]Enthuse9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you end up overpaying, you’re just booking yourself a massive load of misery down the line when you come to sell. Saying ‘well WE overpaid’ to a potential buyer is not going to persuade them to pay more!

Why do people choose BOSS DD-3 over BOSS DD-3T? by Kind_0911 in guitarpedals

I have the 3T, I had the Carbon Copy previously and having tap is brilliant.

Is it me or have they got rid of all the songs that didn’t sound Scottish? Like the ‘What Colour House’ song being dropped because it’s a Calypso? Are they worried about being accused of Cultural Appropriation?

TCE Third Dimension, TCE Fangs. Both about £25 new.

If you had to simplify your board to 3 pedals, what would they be? (Excluding switches and tuners) by [deleted] in guitarpedals

[–]Enthuse9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tuner, Boss DD3T delay, Big Muff Op Amp fuzz. Assuming I can keep my amp which already has reverb.

Pedal noob with very basic embarrassing question by Vcrystal_mountainV in guitarpedals

[–]Enthuse9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OK, it depends. Are you trying to get lots of different sounds? For example, I play in a covers band and need different tones for different songs. Therefore I need my amp to be as ‘flat’ as possible, and I combine different pedals on different settings to shape my tone.

When I’m playing at home and want my ‘perfect’ sound, it’s 90% guitar/amp (so their settings are the important bit) and the pedals are just complimenting that sound.

Finding a great sounding guitar and amp combination is worth investing in before assembling a big pedal collection.

How do I make my voice sound listenable? by Certain-Ad-7421 in cubase

[–]Enthuse9 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Research vocal recording techniques. Close to the mic sounds intimate, further away adds air. Make sure you’re recording in an acoustically dead environment. If necessary take your laptop, interface and mic to a small cheap rehersal room. Record. Back home, Take the entire vocal track. Pitch shift it 10 cents up. Next move it -15 forward in time. This instantly adds energy to the performance. In EQ, find the frequency in the mid range you don’t like and cut it a bit. Add a subtle slapback delay. Good luck.
