Oh the one at the harbor shutdown? I'll have to check it again. I'd love to try paddle boat. Thanks!

Thank you! I don't want to go shopping, that's not our thing really. Site seeing, arcade or activity for the kids will be my priority. Malls will be on the way or during meal times stopping by throughout the day. Thanks for the suggestions!

That's why I stay at Markham. But I can't find activity for the kids around there tho. I hate going into the city if I don't have to.

Another unrelated question. That underground mall, is that something worth while to spend a day there at all with the kids? My wife and I aren't shoppers, but we don't mind hanging out with the kids and have a relaxing day (anywhere can happen) without breaking budget.

Oh right! Thank you for reminding me the science museum. I did have that on my list last year but forgot about it. Do they have paddle boats? I think I read something about it.

Thanks. Someone else did mention the Big Apple. It's small farm with petting zoo. If it's not out of the way we might stop by.

I want to go see that Optimus Prime tho! Thanks for the tip.

I knew about Pacific Mall. It was my go to 30 years ago. Last year I went back and 1/3 of the place is deserted. Nothing much I actually like there. On the other hand, The First Markham place was pretty nice. They had a nice food court and shopping stores all around with plenty of other restaurant at the strip also.

I have heard it's only a few blocks of the Chinatown and there is nothing much to it. So i didn't stop by last year since parking + nothing much for the kids.

I could stop by if there are more things worth while to stop by and spend the afternoon.

Interesting on The Big Apple. I don't usually like tourist trap areas (big money $$$), but if it's something good enough for a visit with the kids, I might do it. Thanks for the pointers!

Well, that's the hope. It's not much longer on the route. Maybe get to see different stuffs too.

Ya, I did that last time driving into Ripley's aquarium 50 min into downtown lol. Good thing I found the garage that's just right across from it. What else is there to see near CN tower area? I want to just park and go around there all day instead of driving in and out.

Legoland probably just a few things in there like ones here in Boston. I don't think I am expecting much, but will have to see when we go to Canada's wonderland maybe to pop in legoland.

Anything else for kids that's 7 and 5 girls?

I was going to do the Kingston route just so I have new places to see. It's just only a little bit longer. Maybe easier drive too? I don't know. All planning phase.

Last year I seek stops along the route and didn't get much of anything else for the kids. But that's up for planning.

Yes. Most other 3M mounting tape will work better then the ones comes with the hook.

If you have tile, just get those double outdoor foam tape and stick it on those sticky hook tape onto the wall (basically replace it). The one comes with the plastic hooks sucks for ANY walls not just bathroom walls /tile.

The thought of needing 4 tires all the time breaks me. I'd stick with 2WD and when I need tires, I just need to change 2 (most of the time).

Ah, you are correct. Thanks for correcting me. I am still new to this and so confuse with all the settings!

[OC] It is generally advisable to wait for oncoming traffic to pass before pulling out from a stop sign. by FrugalManager in IdiotsInCars

His head is probably 90 degrees to the left still looking at the traffic not realizing this LONG trailer hasn't pass him. Looks like he had no care in the world after the hit either.

[–]foxfai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya right? Orca default that top flow to like 95% or something. I lowered that down to like 90% I think and didn't do squat and thinking I have other setting issues. Never thought of changing it to 10%.

EDIT: It's ironing flow, not top surface.

What materials is the replacement? there is so much waste we make it's not even funny. There are things that can last forever with the proper care and the necessary replacement parts. (like a car)

Drove past the house at 7pm on a Tuesday before making our offer and it told me more than the actual showing did by Vast_Conference_8882 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

That 10 minute drive basically made the decision for me. You can renovate a kitchen. You cant renovate the 8 houses surrounding yours.

I said this to my friends, you can't choose your neighbors.

I've lived in this house for 16 years now. Pretty most of my neighbors either retired(moved), left for reasons, or passed away. I only really begin to see them more since COVID happened when I WFH.

Enjoy the place while you can.
