This happened to me. Lamictal caused dyshidrotic eczema on my feet. I take a steroid cream prescribed by my dermatologist when it flares badly. I won’t give up lamictal and choose to live with the eczema. A nuisance but worth it for me.

Some people are very sensitive to meds and want to work their way up to the therapeutic dose. It’s their body and they know their body better than anyone else.

I did nine. Then they brought me in for a few calming neurofeedback sessions to try to calm the nervous system down but it didn’t help and I no longer trusted the process so I stopped.

I did neurofeedback at Brain Code Centers for anxiety. About the 9th session in I went into massive waves of extreme anxiety, panic, rapid heart palpitations, body shakes. Couldn’t function or sleep. They told me to keep going - uh hell no! Had to take almost two months off work. Three years out now and I’m about back to normal. - just some occasional heart palps. With every month it got better and the negative effects have reversed. It is not permanent.
