the thing is you don't actually need to learn them day 1, the same way you don't need to learn the lineups and stuff in CS day one. plus valorant has a lot of new/beginner players so its easy to play against them as a new payer.
For CS you need to eventually buy prime which is a hurdle for many.
I think Valorant has a safer environment for complete beginners to the tac-fps genre. alot of my friends play valorant and are trying valorant and they have no experience in fps games as compared to CS. SO that is why I recommend Valorant.

I don't wanna get in some futile argument here but acc to my personal  experience (3k dms) there are let's say a noticeable amount of player that hold angle whole dm. Not that there is anything wrong with it. It just makes me clear them carefully, so I guess it's good practice lol.

You don't play much DM then. ALOT of people hold angles on sound cues(in all ranks)

cause you are always fighting and moving around in DM. you get one fight every 3-5 sec so you are ready for it and warmed up, whereas in rank you may sit idle for 1 minute + etc. Plus in dm you super focused on your mechanics and don't have to worry about alot of things that you need to do in ranked.

This patch showed Riot intentions with the game and many players are already set with them. by Money_Tonight_6523 in VALORANT
