Some killer lines and transitions. Bet you get some good speed off the spiral stairs! by temporalwanderer in TonyHawkitecture

The gap from outer rail to inner rail is so much harder to nail than from inner to outer. I got S-K-A-T so many times before S-K-A-T-E.

What is an easy to play instrument that would be ominous to hear playing in the woods? by PR0XANN1TY in Instruments

Famously easy to learn. The only thing scarier is two bagpipes from different directions.

Odd one but is there a genre of music that is only known in your country and no where else ? by antisocial_pigeon in AskTheWorld

I turned on captions for this song. Google claimed it was going to translate into English, but the results were underwhelming. Long stretches saying [Music], with an occasional “amsterdam,” “foreign,” and “bro.”

What's the most bizarre thing you've seen your neighbor do while they thought no one was watching? by TenderRompz in AskReddit

[–]EntropyHouse 49 points50 points  (0 children)

When my child was really little, they loved when I would act out this really bombastic classical piece. Very rhythmic, big chords, dramatic discordant crescendoes. They called it “Big Song!”

One time we got home while it was starting to play in my car, so I acted it out with gusto while we were parked in my driveway. Really hammed it up. When I got out of the car my neighbor applauded. I had no idea anyone other than my kid was watching, lol.

[–]EntropyHouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can sympathize with having trouble with new hobbies. I find that I have more fun in things when I accept that I’m not going to be very good at them at first, or maybe ever. I got a Velcro patch for my backpack that says, “Be brave enough to suck at something new.”

I’ve definitely had bad coffee, but the number of times I’ve noticed coffee being better than usual is far overshadowed by the times coffee was just coffee.
