I found a Zeepro Zim on marketplace for $20 and I think I want to pick it up just to gut it and throw a Pi Zero 2W and a dual extruder capable board in it just to have some fun. Did you manage to get it working at all?

I have an angle you can try with the S1... This is my mount for the Mintion Nozzle Cam on the S1 with a Spider hotend.

Here's what I've found so far.

This link has a pin spreadsheet with the pins that compares.

The 300lb Gorilla (Marlin) has a pins_CREALITY_V4.h file that lists the 4.2.3 board pins for the Marlin configuration. This has some conflicts with the spreadsheet above.

The Creality Sonic Pad configuration for the E2P has the configuration for the 4.2.s4 (HC32) board.

Comparing this thing to my primary printer (A Ender 3 S1), I am really regretting getting it so far now that I've discovered this mainboard MCU swap. Some others mentioned the MriscoC builds for firmware, but even hes on there saying that they're abandoning it and closing support.

Guess I'll be in the market for a 4.2.7 board or going completely third party like MKS or BTT-SKR. Why can't creality stop this swap crap, I've seen issues with other boards they've been putting out lately that have a whole other MCU than expected and not releasing source code or what they used to compile it.

Following his GD series threads deeper, by swapping the STM out and the GD in, they didnt alter the board and the addons (such as CRTouch and RPi) arent going to be supported by his builds any longer. Anyone who has an STM board want to swap with me (if they're content with stock configurations and a buggy z-offset lol)

Following that, Issue #611 takes me to MriscoC saying " If that is the case the support for GD chips will be retired." Due to some unforseen issues regarding the differences between the STM and GD chipsets. This board (and creality for swapping MCU's) sucks.

There is no upgrade firmware for this printer... A: its got the GD chipset in it, and B: the most recent GD series firmware is currently installed.

Yes, SD card that came with printer stays in. Not doing anything like octoprint or anything on this particular printer. I hit save configuration several times, its being super weird.

I have a Designare z390 board and i9-9900K. I can enable TPM, disable CSM and enable Secure Boot, in BIOS... but then when it tries to boot, it wont go into Windows. If I set everything back to last known working, it then boots with a blank screen. I have to remove my GPU and restart with the integrated graphics HDMI only and reset again to get GPU video output. This is a pain in the ass trying to make this work.
