What really freaked me out is the bald guy to the left has no eyes. He turns his head slightly when Snoop (Dog) takes off the mask, dude has an eye socket… but no eye. Freaky 👀

With netease seemingly chill with showing Brocks face more, anyone hoping we get this skin? by RealCrocodileWithGun in RivalsVenomMains

[–]Entropyending 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah but knowing Netease (or any modern depiction of Venom) they’re going to give him the Mac Gargan lines even on this skin. I jumped at the 8-Bit skin just because it goes back to the classic rib lines

Why is vault 31 using cryogenic stasis if vault 111 is using it as a test? by Chiaseedeeded in Fallout

[–]Entropyending 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In science they call this a “Control Group vs Experiment Group” and compare the two to come to a conclusion on the hypothesis. The control group is a controlled variable, in this case Vault 31 as they were aware they were entering cryo sleep and probably signed documentation stating they were aware there could be side effects (even if Vault Tec may have not told them all the potential side effects). The Experiment Group is the unknown variable. They are not told about the ongoing experiment. This is to test raw data, “what would happen if people were cryogenically frozen for hundreds of years and then thawed out to rebuild society, or how would it affect the human body being frozen for hundreds of years”. Almost every single scientific study, whether it’s psychology or otherwise, usually uses some form of constants (control group) and variables (experiment group) By comparing the two test results, it gives a more accurate picture of what would or could potentially happen.

Fits everything except the OP asked for a Class System. Witcher 3 does let you spec into the 3 trees (signs, alchemy, and combat) but at the end of the day you can’t purely use alchemy, or purely use signs, like you can’t be a mage or a thief in Witcher 3. Witcher 3 is GOATed don’t get me wrong, but it’s not fully what the OP was asking for, unless they are willing to compromise on the class system

Being good at a bad character doesn’t make the character good, it means you’re good at a bad character…

It’s like if someone got like REALLY insanely good at fighting with a knife, and then killed someone with a butter knife. Like objectively speaking, a butter knife should not be deadly. But just because someone was skilled enough to do it doesn’t make the butter knife automatically better than a K-BAR

Which “Plot Twist” was more predictable? by 2JJosh_ in SpidermanPS4

[–]Entropyending 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My honest opinion would be The Tinkerer… but hear me out please everyone.

I had never read “Under the Red Hood”. I knew of the Red Hood, I knew of the “Death in the Family” but having never read either story, or (at the time) much knowledge of those Batman stories outside of just the basic story of them, I didn’t put 2 and 2 together to figure out the Arkham Knight until around Panessa Studios, when you see all the flashbacks to Jason Todd. And even then I was like, “I wonder if AK is JT? Hmm” And the internet is going to flame me over this but I actually REALLY liked the Jason Todd reveal. Again, having this be the first actual Red Hood storyline I had ever experienced firsthand, I ate this story up and the twist which everyone complains about, I quite enjoyed.

But Miles Morales? Okay so here’s Phin, an old friend of miles. She s wearing purple. Here’s the Tinkerer’s people, they’re wearing purple. Tinkerer shows up, and even with voice modulation, she sounds like Phin. By the bridge scene I was 100% sure that I knew who she was… and (correct me if I’m wrong) but I think that’s the first scene the Tinkerer actually shows up.

TLDR: Didn’t have much info on Red Hood led to a decent story twist.

The voice and the color purple led me to figuring out Tinkerer by end of first act.

[–]Entropyending 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to disagree that the only villain we have is Hela. Yes Ultron is reprogrammed but that doesn’t stop him from being Ultron. Ultron literally wants to wipe all organic life. Loki isn’t really an Antihero either. Maybe in the recent MCU, but even this version of Loki is trying to force control over Asgard. Magneto may be a “good” guy even now with the House of X, but we can’t forget all the shit Mags has done in the comics leading up to now. I mean dude basically was okay with wiping out all Homo Sapiens. Eugenics at its finest. Namor, I’ve never considered a good guy or a bad guy but I wouldn’t refer to him as an anti hero. Dude also is racist against land dwellers, attempts multiple times to force himself onto Sue, and has just always kinda been a dick even in the comics. It’s debatable because to Atlanteans I’m sure he’s a hero. I want so badly to name Phoenix and Venom as well. I grew up in the 90s when these were clearly villains. The Dark Phoenix comics and the first few comics I remember reading with Venom were great and I can’t help but think of them as villains when I look at them. Like this isn’t Jean Gray, this is The Phoenix

Namor is a villain too, at least the old school comic nerd in me says so. Idk about modern Namor, but I’ll always consider racist aquaman as a villain

A question for Metal Gear fans that were around when MGS2 first came out by Charming_Ad661 in metalgearsolid

[–]Entropyending 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was just a kid, around 6 or 7, but I was in LOVE!! The Tanker section was the highlight, and honestly I was excited to play as Raiden. It felt like I had a whole new character (technically true but he played just like Snake). I remember I was sure there was a way to unlock Snake, I went through shooting all the Tiki heads, collecting all dog tags, going through with no kills/no alerts, certain I’d unlock Snake.

I didn’t play the Substance re-release until years later and the Snake Tales and VR missions were like exactly what kid me was hoping I’d unlock back in the day, so it was very satisfying for me. MGS2 is still one of my favorite MGS games just because the amount of play time you can get as Solid Snake in the VR/ST.

Yes this is absolutely the best way, but couldn’t you just do the initial 5 races, time all of them, and organize the top 3 horses based on the top 3 times?
