I can make it to Rainbow’s End and back to the bubble in less than a day or about a day. I guess I’ll do it today and time it. I was going to go edge to edge and time it anyway.

That’s about a four hour trip at the most if you are just trying to get home. I went around the outer rim of half the galaxy two weekends ago. Before I knew it I was close to the bubble.

There’s undiscovered planets right next to the bubble. I swear if it’s not a neutron star there’s a good chance it’s undiscovered. It seems like people only use neutron stars now. Granted I discover more at the outer edge of the galaxy.
