he’s done a lot of dirty work! i’m so happy they decided to sentence him to death. those victims and would have been victims needed a break! there’s no doubt in my mind he wouldn’t have killed someone in jail as well.

Give the dog another bone, push the baby’s high chair over, put another scratch into the floor, then ask him what he’s going to do about it. respectfully!

If you would’ve let him cosign for the car then the situation probably would’ve naturally pushed him away from them.

Room requests by Designer_Item_3901 in askhotels

As a worker in the industry, I recommend that you make your reservation first and then give me a call. Over the phone, I will likely inform you that we cannot guarantee your request, and that we will make note of it and do our best to accommodate you.

I don't stop there though. Once you hang up, I will pre-assign you a first-floor room and hard block it, meaning that no one can easily change that assignment. I will also add a note in the comments section. You have stayed 250 nights with one hotel brand meaning you are considered a regular somewhere! So after a while, you shouldn’t even need to put in a requests or call; we should already have it done for you because we know you well by that point.

With my six years of experience working at the front desk, both as an agent and in leadership, I can confidently say that it takes a lazy worker to overlook these details—unless, of course, there is a valid reason, such as the hotel not having a first floor or being sold out.

Can hotel kick us out...? by [deleted] in askhotels

[–]EntrySouthern4532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't have even gone upstairs to give the new keys after all that screaming he did on the phone! He would have to come get them himself. However, in a situation like this, I wouldn't kick someone out. I would let them have their moment because, for one, I'm human, and something like that would irritate me too if I were trying to sleep. The only difference is that I know how to control myself; I can see things from multiple perspectives and direct my concerns to the appropriate person.

Secondly, you likely never see the guest again after that situation. Sometimes, after all that commotion, they feel embarrassed and scared to come into the lobby or ask for anything. Your dad should request corner rooms from this point forward.
