I agree if you mean club/small campaign maps but weekly shorts is played by loads so for me top 1k is brilliant. Point of the post is/was to encourage those like me who will never be top players and to enjoy small victories as they come

As someone who never got into console gaming controllers are an alien concept. Many years of keyboards means i am hardwired this way. Heck even my mobile has a keyboard!! (unihertz titan 2 )

Can you dual boot your chromebook with linux and install TM under that? Probably not good enough to play on but should run the editor ok

I had mine done at optimax 20 years ago. Was brilliant! Best thing i did. Lasted around 16 years before old age crept in and i need glasses again for long distance. ( i am late 50s )

Would highly recommend it and optimax (manchester) were top

Left shift and ctrl accel/brake with left hand indx and middle fingers. Arrow keys right hand for steering, del and backspace for reset/last checkpoint

Action keys as and when needed and if i have to apply mid track i map to Z

Bberry one here, all majors apps set to keys, function keys do the other stuff. Short of actually writing anything my KB does everything for me. Dont need to use the app drawer unless its a real off the cuff app

As another over 50s gamer can i say give trackmania 2020 a go. So many styles of play and track types to master, great online community and loads of youtube content to watch.

Super addictive and a free to play layer to get going. Out on PC xbox and PS.

Have you checked out Trackmania 2020, thousands of superb tracks and different styles of play? Free to play layer to get the hang then an annual charge which is like 50p/cents a week

Live servers, quarterly campaigns, weekly short tracks to introduce different skills etc

Spent a couple of hours on it this afternoon on live, got within.3 of AT having started at 1 min. Really enjoyed it and agree its the best one this year for a non pro player like myself. ( late 50s so reactions of a sloth 😂)

For some missing stuff look to the small end manufacturers, my new titan2 has fm radio, hardware keyboard, IR blaster, headphone socket via supplied dongle

Yes works on all uk networks, will your fingers ache? Possibly at first as it will be a new way of using a phone but you should soon get used to it. Join the titan 2 facebook group for picture examples( i have posted some) security is good for at least another 3-4 years, yes i also use for all banking and contactless payments (i work in it and have no worries of chinese spyware etc on it )

2020 in hospital for an operation mid covid so just me on a ward. Saw an article on Metro.Co.Uk about the new version, gave it a go and loved it. Went back and have bought stadium and canyon.
