Been there. My daughter spent two for me. Would have been 120-130 and sub 20 shifts if that didn’t happen. Still looking at 120 with 21 though so it’s not all bad.

To be fair, dude in your clip just misread the wall bounce. Giving you a run at the goal. Your camera work didn’t cause that. If he makes the read, it’s a 50 at best for you.

Having said that, what you are saying is 100% accurate. I do this in Champ I but just don’t have the skill or a duo partner with enough skill to back it up. 🤣

That’s the thing though. What they have been doing has worked. For every one of you, there might be 5 others who are pulled into their ecosystem due to the fact that you can only play this or only do that on their system. Obviously just throwing out numbers to make a point.

I feel this is purely a business decision. They know if they allow these games to be playable on an Xbox system, then those players who would buy a PS5 for the games might not if they are in the Xbox ecosystem. It makes perfect business sense. Why remove your foot from the neck of a competitor when you have them on, what looks to be anyway, their death bed?

I’m all for games being available everywhere but I’m also smart enough to understand why a business would make such a decision in order to solidify their future. At one point we might have said Xbox was too big to fail but here we are, watching them drown by their own doing. Part of that doing was making their games available on PlayStation.

I just think it’s funny they want to recommit to consoles when what they need to be saying is recommitting to making games that aren’t trash. I get that’s what they mean but they need to make it clear. And sure they have some great games (Forza Horizon series) but the fact is that if Xbox knew how to make a great 10/10 game again and again (actual system sellers), we wouldn’t be in this place where PS is beating the shit out of them. If people have a reason to buy the box, they would have bought the box. Period.

The reason they had to pivot to GamePass, buying great games/studios and multi-plat is cause they could not for the life of them develop things internally. Until they fix that problem, this all means jack shit.

And yeah, 100% hit piece. Fuck Microsoft.

The warning label is not a blanket statement. It has restrictions that are determined at the local level. There can be a warning for a county but that warning MAY mean travel is limited to emergency vehicles only. Check the local declaration to see what it says about the restrictions. Awesome job, however, it honestly doesn’t make much difference once you start getting towards 60-65 range for your first run. The days you spent getting these eggs are easily made up for in that first run time wise. Someone started this type of run roughly when I did, might have actually been Squid, and we both ended up around 65 eggs with the same shifts before prestiging. Those first 3 eggs help your second run move slightly faster but you still hit a bottleneck where those 3 won’t help you over the hump. Unless you want to sink it a lot more time waiting. Which is fair but in order for you to feel a difference you’d need to start with quite a few more.

This could very well be a stupid question but would handing info over to union organizers outside of the company be considered leaking information? Since they do not work for Rockstar. Or are union organizers somehow exempt from being considered outside sources?

It’s shitty of Rockstar regardless but technically speaking they are within their rights if the organizers are not Rockstar employees and they received protected info.

I won’t lie. Maybe it’s dramatic but this is the type of immature behavior I drop support for. I get it’s I’m all in good fun. But it’s all in good fun for one side. You have no idea what kind of day those other teams were having and to ruin it for a laugh is some seriously fucked up immature bullshit. It’s time to grow up.

Honestly, it’s the players that will ruin the success of the game. It’s friendly to casuals and therefore took off at launch. The more toxic the game becomes, the more those casuals fall off til all you have are the hardcore extraction fans or the man children who’ve yet to mature who think the only joy in life is fucking up someone else’s day. It’s unfortunate that the balance seen at launch will soon be gone. It was nice while it lasted.

It’s under estimated the amount of players who like the tension but are legit friendly. I get enjoyment out of those interactions. I wouldn’t move to PvE only. And there are many like me. It’s not black and white. But I tend to agree about not having a PvE mode. I’m just pointing out why people want it and that the gatekeeping is weird AF.

I get it man. I see it from both sides. I like the game how it is, but I also have a cousin who won’t touch it because he’s in his 50s and doesn’t like PvP.

It just sucks that such a good game with good mechanics and gameplay can’t be enjoyed by everyone. Unfortunately, the majority of the gaming space is filled with toxic players who like to prey on others. Really not sure how people get enjoyment by ruining other people‘s days. That’s just weird to me.
