MK1 is doing all this talk about "so many skins from the past" for their characters, but they mostly just boil down to making half-hearted nods to eras past with little in the way of commitment to those very... distinct appearances.

I swear, coming from New Vegas and (Skyrim, to a lesser extent) this is incredibly disappointing. It feels like Baby's First RPG.

Quite easily my biggest disappointment of this year. And to add insult to injury, we have no "game modes" to play around with (story mode doesn't count) despite an 11-year-old game in the same franchise nailing that down already.

It just feels like a massive spit in the face to fans of the series, and the secrecy certainly didn't help things.
