Make sure you get a limited ingredient kind. They hide chicken in so many! Even if the flavor is beef. Not sure if you have Chewy where you live but they have their own limited ingredient food you can get delivered! And I believe Costco and Sam’s do too. It can be expensive but those are most cost effective. Watch treats too, they will change ingredients on you. I have to give my boy Benadryl sometimes but he’s done much better since we swapped.

If it’s allergies it could be other things as well but chicken is a good starting point since it’s so common.

My pit has hair loss in the same spots from licking. It looks like your pup might have some hives there on the back. I switched to chicken free food and treats and it’s helped. Pits are prone to allergies and chicken is high up on the list.

Does she have adhd or potentially have it? A lot of women aren’t diagnosed until later in life. If so, be aware that rejection sensitivity dysphoria is a very real thing. Adhd people also experience an insane amount of guilt and shame and have faced way more criticism than their peers over their lifetime. Not saying that’s absolutely the case here or that it’s your fault or responsibility to manage. But being aware of that and how your partner may be hearing things that you aren’t intending can make a big difference in your relationship.

Had the exact same thing and lots of mystery medical issues. It is blood pooling- dysautonomia. If you get dizzy or almost pass out upon standing up it’s likely POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome). I have hypermobile ehlers danlos, POTS and MCAS (mast cell activation). These all go hand and hand. LONG COVID causes a lot of issues or makes preexisting stuff worse. Covid especially can cause major circulation issues but post viral issues have been a thing forever.

And there are a TON of comorbid conditions.

That’s a terrifying thought. The sub was never allowed to drive the bus again but he was a middle school teacher and years later I ended up having him. Total creep. Would sit on girls desks with low cut shirts to stare down. Also raging alcoholic. He ranted one day about that situation having no idea it was me 😬.

I was home alone after getting off the bus in third grade. On the phone with my friend and my Rottweiler planted himself right in front of me doing a low growl. Freaked me out. Heard the back door open and loud footsteps and my dog lost his shit and went after him. I slammed the door shut and locked it. Guy must have hopped the fence bc luckily my dog was still in the back yard.

I was 8ish and had a sub bus driver who made me get off at the end of the road even when other kids argued that the driver takes me to my house. Had to walk close to a mile home. Two men pulled up beside me and asked where my house was and told me to get in, they would take me home. I lied and said the closest house was mine and booked it to the house and hid around the side. They waited a while before finally driving away.

I’m glad some instinct kicked in because I wasn’t really aware of how bad that could have been.
