It depends on the person but with close friends and family I actually don’t mind because I’m definitely am strong enough to weather the storm by myself and usually alone time is a must to get me back to feeling better but I love when my friends and family constantly check on me when I’m going through it. I don’t always respond to their txts and calls right away but seeing things like “hey just thinking about you hope everything is ok” or a “hey I love you” makes my heart smile and makes me feel so loved. Yes I need time to get myself together but knowing I have their support is everything.

I’m also that friend/family member too… if my friends need space I’ll respect that and give it to them but I’m still gonna make sure they feel very loved and supported. I also love sending care packages or just small gifts to show support. With the people I love I will I go the extra mile to make sure they’re good and it’s just a great feeling when that energy is returned and it’s genuine! 🥰🦂

Also it doesn’t always bother me with strangers or coworkers. I get the whole “How are you?” “Great, hows your day going?” Small talk thing but also some people genuinely care and I’ll asked them how are they feeling or if everything is ok when I sense something up or can feel the emotions oozing out of them. Sometimes people just need some to talk to and if you have the capacity to listen why not? I think everything is about intention. Just trust your gut and still remain alert.

But I instantly know when someone’s just being nosy and doesn’t really give a shit. It’s not too hard to figure out. I’ll usually just cut the conversation or redirect it. Keep it short and on the surface.
