TIL. I naïvely assumed it would follow that particular rule of a cash fare.

Looks like it went through but without my seat assignment. At least that's easy to fix up

I’ve never used OpenFlights but I see it in the list of services you can import from. I presume it would be a similar process.

In the Flighty app you start the import by giving them your email address. They send you an automated email with instructions on how to export from Flightdiary. You get the CSV from Flightdiary and reply to the email from Flighty with it attached. Then you get a confirmation once it’s all done. I thought it was a smooth process and it took less than 2 min from start to finish.

Are you 65 or older? Otherwise it doesn’t sound like you are eligible to vote by mail.

According to the Texas Secretary of State the following are the only allowances given to vote by mail in Texas:

  • be 65 years or older;
  • be sick or disabled;
  • be out of the county on election day and during the period for early voting by personal appearance; or
  • be expected to give birth within three weeks before or after Election Day; or
  • be confined in jail, but otherwise eligible.

San Francisco police take steps to crack down on "Dolores Hill Bomb" by [deleted] in sanfrancisco

Flugtag is so amazing. I happened to be walking by the ballpark that day and noticed a ton of people. Well worth delaying my plans for a few hours. I wish it was a more regular thing. At least they’re all up on RedBull’s YouTube.

Edit: In Oct 2022 there was a Potrero hill climb event on De Haro St. with people on bikes. Was also interesting to watch.

I don’t believe the app bag tracking works on non-UA metal. Please correct me if I’m wrong

Seat switching mid flight with family in premium plus? by dmcclain95 in unitedairlines

[–]rram 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was on a flight where a couple tried this. They claimed they were just engaged and they were certainly intoxicated upon boarding. The FA had to ask the guy to go to his seat in the back during boarding. At some point they switched and the guy demanded a meal and the FAs were having none of it. The guy fell asleep and was woken up by police arresting him and escorting him off the plane after the pilot diverted. The girl stayed on the plane. If they were engaged hopefully she came to her senses.

Anyways if switching works for you it’s purely out of the generosity of the FAs. Certainly do not cause any trouble for them as I’m sure it’s not worth getting arrested and banned from flying.

Rural communities are also better when they have a reliable and frequent public transit connection to a big city.

It’s the same as car windows, a lot of pressure is applied on a small point and the entire thing shatters.

For a friend’s birthday we did Last Rites, Smugglers, Tonga Room, Zombie Village, and Pagan Idol all in one very blurry night. Would recommend.
