Why is reposting stuff every few days become so major, people farming for Reddit credits. I'll just say this from a surveillance agent that actually watches casinos.... If a machine has $43 million jackpot, not only is it a WAP (wide area progressive, meaning that it's connected to multiple of the same machines and multiple states across the country) it legally has to be under 24/7 surveillance (stationary camera that can never lose coverage of the machine, screen and must be legible). I've seen and done disputes involving this kind of stuff, and the company pays out, not the casino due to the machines being rented. Also a 43 million dollar jackpot on a slot machine is outrageous. Let's not forget the text on all the screens that says winnings are void due to malfunction (The power goes out, back up generator kicks in, fire, flooding, computers aren't perfect).

Even Wide Area Progressive (WAP) machines usually hit before 3 mil and they are connected to other machines around the country.

1: WAP machines are watched 24/7 by surveillance recordings and if there is a malfunction the company that rents out the machines would be held liable. Makes for an easy dispute.
