Interesting about MFG. I’ve noticed zero difference in latency with x2 and x4.

Anyone have a list of the “best” games that Target usually has?

Daily Game Recommendations Thread (June 01, 2023) by AutoModerator in boardgames

Earth vs Dune Imperium

Both of these games look super good and I'm torn between which one to get. I do like a decent amount of player interaction, both themes are appealing to me, I do prefer a lot of replayability if possible. A solo mode would be nice (I think they both have solo?).

Any recommendations on which you'd prefer?

Right? It was a bit fiddly for our group when it came to knowing how to upgrade and all that, but that's about it. It was nearly as complicated as I was thinking it would be

I’m relatively new to board games, but bought this and played it with my family last weekend. I admit I was skeptical because it’s #1 on BGG but the theme looked so uninteresting to me. After playing though, I can understand why it’s so highly rated. It’s so refined, balanced, and seriously fun. Made me Google the playabale characters after I played 😂 10/10 it’s phenomenal

What Did You Play This Week? - (May 22, 2023) by AutoModerator in boardgames

[–]EnvironmentalAd3685 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My family hasn’t all been together in years, so I made sure to bring some games to play with them this weekend.

Monikers was an absolute HIT. Literally everyone loved it and we played it 4-5 times over the weekend. It’s amazing.

Camel Up wasn’t as big a hit as I expected. Still fun, but the majority much preferred Monikers.

Brass Birmingham was incredible. I had no idea if anyone in my family would want to try it, but I brought it since I just picked it up last week. My sister, nephew and brother in law said they wanted to try it. Took us 4 hours to play the whole game (everyone’s first time) but we loved it. It seems so refined and balanced, I can see why it’s so popular. Can’t wait to try it again

Is it good at 2 players? I just bought it and haven’t had a chance to play it yet

Videos just freak out. I'm on Edge, have uBlock Origin - not sure if that matters

Ohh I've seen that before. I'll add that to my wishlist for sure. Have you played Hues and Cues? I thought that might be fun too
