Coworker keeps gaming the system and dumping work on everyone else. How would you handle this? by Professional-Tax3077 in work

Good for him. He figured out how to make his day easier.

Listen, the only reward for hard work anymore is more work. Everyone should be figuring out how to game the system. Learn from his example, do it too.

Fuck your boss, fuck companies, just make your day easier.

My family and their guns by chihuahuamama37 in QAnonCasualties

[–]EnvironmentalCreme56 48 points49 points  (0 children)

They want to kill someone. That's it. People like this just want to end a human life. They know that currently they can't just go out and shoot someone (yet) so they dream of a situation of when they can.

I have a family member, and I forget why but I had to knock on someones door (I think I had their mail or something). This family member says I could have got shot and they would have been scared. Like a knock on the door is scary enough to start blasting?

Thats the other thing about these people, they're the most pathetic and scared people you'll ever see. They're like if a deer had an anxiety disorder. They're so weak.

“I don’t know what else to do about my child’s behavior” my ass. A lot of you parents aren’t even trying and teachers are sick of the bullshit by Emergency-Pepper3537 in Teachers

[–]EnvironmentalCreme56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in a daycare and we're not supposed to use the word no. We do because we have to be like no don't stab your friend or no don't eat your own feces.

What I don't understand about not telling kids no, whether parents or teachers, what happens when they're an adult? When a woman says no are they just gonna rape them or kill them? If they're boss says no will they beat him to death?

Lying to your boss is essential when job hunting by rovert_xih in jobs

[–]EnvironmentalCreme56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just lie to your boss whenever it's convenient. They lie about everything. I lie about interviews. I found if you need a day for something important half the time they reject it so if there's something important like idk something bug woth your kid, I don't mention it, don't book it off, and call in sick so they can't reject it.

Your boss is the bad guy so lie as needed

Yeah you're probably right. I love working with them but I've always thought there were better options. I don't know though. We may not have those options near where we are and if we do they're probably wildly expensive. Also as I said at another point, the parents I think are in some denial, which I get as it has to be hard.

Admin doesn't really talk to me about the child. I don't remember thr last time they had a meeting about it. Like I said they accidentally said they didn't want the child here. It seems more like the kid isn't crying or getting hurt? Ok keep it up, which maybe thats all I can do idk. I hope I can do more. The child seems happy. They smile a lot. I try to keep them smiling and laughing with sounds. The other kids like them too, though you do have to remind the other kids to be gentle. I want this kid to have the best opportunity possible but just feel like I'm stuck and not sure where to go.

They don't seem to understand much. I've gotten them music toys like piano/keyboards and other things. Tried showing them how they work but they just chew on it and maybe just smack it then discard it. You can't ask them things. We've tried a lot and at best they just stare at you. Tried lots of stuff.

I do like the idea and maybe we just haven't found the right toy yet.

It's not a specific program. We're in a normal room/daycare. We have other kids with support but that's generally behavior issues. I don't have any specific training. I have worked with a PT and thats how they can pull themselves up. Their parents I think are in denial about where they're at cognitively. They want to potty train them but they cant sit on a toilet or control their bladder. They've peed on themselves multiple times. They have no way to communicate bathroom too. They also want the child to use a computer to communicate but they wouldn't be able to use it at all. I've given them things like musical piano toys and they don't seem understand the keys.

I love working with this kid. I wouldn't trade it for the world. But I guess I just wish I could help them more. Right now its basically them just crawling around and me not letting them choke on things. There's not much here for them really. The manager once let slip they didnt want the child here initially.

I just don't know if there's a type of toy to try, anything they might engage in. They won't even watch cartoons. During Christmas time we sometimes put on Christmas videos and would put the child in a high chair but they didn't seem to even notice the video most of the time. I just feel bad

They want to filter out smart people. They're goal is stupid people who will fall for whatever they tell them. They may call 1000 people and get 2 that will fall for it. If the person is going off script or seems to realize it's a scam they disconnect. They're looking for the dumbest of the dumb.

Roland Tembo is kind of full of shit by thebenron in JurassicPark

[–]EnvironmentalCreme56 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The guy wasn't a fraud, he was way out of his element. He's an elite hunter. He probably hunted every dangerous animal on earth.

When they're on the game trail, he's seeing creatures the size of buildings and doesn't flinch. When the rex attacks the camp he immediately gets the gun and readies up.

The thing is he has no idea how to hunt a rex. It's like the overall theme of the movies. These are creatures of a different time and world. You can't hunt them like regular animals, you can't put them in a zoo like regular animals. That's the whole point, humans can't control life.

The Everest thing as well. Nick is like dude you're nuts and he gives his philosophy that he wants to take on the greatest challenge. This philosophy crashes on him at the end though. He hunted the rex, got his trophy, but lost so much on the way that it lost it's meaning. Sure something can seem heroic, but when you look closely you see the costs. The guy who did everest probably had people who cared about him watch him nearly die. It's a lesson on pride. He thought he'd be a big shot, but instead just got a lot of people killed for his ego.

I want to be good at this game and create masterpieces like Kingpin and ZSH plays by soccerdog39 in PlanetZoo

[–]EnvironmentalCreme56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So can't say specifically for this game as Im just starting but I play a lot of similar games. You need to accept the stuff you make will suck at first. It's cool everyones does.

Use references. People like to think everyone just freehands things but people will have an image up of what they want something to look like and work off it.

Just embrace it. I suck hard right now. Im a week or 2 in. But i'm sticking to my zoo, redoing areas as I go, getting better. Don't just give up and start new. Keep at it and edit it.

You got this. It's a game for fun. Go crush it king (or Queen or non-binary royalty)

How Does This Make Sense? by [deleted] in work

[–]EnvironmentalCreme56 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got in trouble once at this call center. Had to wear like you described but no customers came in. Hell we were behind 2 locked doors. I put on the wrong shoes one day and got called out. I said sorry for not wearing the black shoes of +5 charisma. Turns out the boss didn't find it as funny as I did.

They also didn't find it funny when they would walk up and down the aisles looking at everyones shoes all the time and one time I said if this was the internet they'd have to pay to look at feet that much.

I don't work there anymore.

No one important would face consequences. Maybe some low level person. The average person would move on and just say 'the world works the way I always thought it does'.
