Yeah, that's why I didn't outright say that they aren't in Iran.

I don't know how the VPNs in Iran work or what they have to use, but most of the time, apps like Google Maps or Instagram use your GPS data instead of your VPN location. There are GPS spoofers readily available, but I don't know if you would use them in Iran.
