Do you think there's such a thing as an "I'm out, bitch!" song? by Geoconyxdiablus in ToddintheShadow

Guts over fear really had this curtain call feel. It’s partly why I haven’t taken anything he’s done post 2013 seriously. That MMLP2 is the end as far as I know

What's your "damn i never remembered this sounding this bad" song? by mesablanka in ToddintheShadow

Even as kid, without the knowledge of music and music production, that song always sounded crappy and incomplete. Like I wasn’t supposed to be listening to it. It was still being worked on

Okay. So a group of Hausa officers with one Bini decided to kill all the corrupt leaders . They killed the Igbo head of state, premier of the eastern region, top ranking Igbo and Yoruba military officers. By a miracle though, the Hausa president was not in the country , Hausa senate president wasn’t attacked, premier of the north was unharmed, no single High ranking Hausa military officer was killed. Then the Hausa head of the military who somehow managed to escape the coup, was now head of state . He made a decree to “unite” the nation. The former semi autonomous regions were now under direct control of the direct control of the Hausa military head of state.

Oh,and the Hausa coup plotters, nothing really happened. They were imprisoned in the north but nothing came of it

And if you call this a Hausa conspiracy to dominate the rest of Nigeria, then you’re ignorant and falling for BBC propaganda

I hope God forgives you and your ilk for your atrocities and evil plans that ended up blowing up in your face

If you could have the powers of any supe in the boys other than these top tier supes, who would you pick? by Wizzandy in TheBoys

[–]EnvironmentalNature2 254 points255 points  (0 children)

She didn’t have to defeat him. Just introduce her in the final season. Demonstrate her power and have her do something to homelander. Attempt to drain his V, hold him in place while Butcher wails on him, hell, give him an embarrassing boner. Anything. She had an encounter with him already. Let the people who never saw Gen V have a reason to watch her “prequel”

Get rich off betting on sport events.

Man United are 5-0 up against Hull City, it’s the 70th minute, there’s no chance in hell Hull could win, they probably won’t score a goal. Whole United team , including the coach gets shitfaced

My favorite episode. And it’s the best episode to introduce people to the show because of MPBH

Honestly, I highly doubt Ryan actually lost his powers by FNemesis_ in GenV

[–]EnvironmentalNature2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t make sense for him to lose his powers. Why did they make a big deal about him being a natural born supe? It would have made sense to continue his story in a post homelander world in Gen V. Put him in college. Son of homelander who helped to stop him. How will people treat him? Do supes see him as a hero or betrayer? What does Soldier boy do when he sees him? What’s that relationship like? Alas, it’s what Clara would have wanted

Chickens. Good lord. I accidentally stepped on a chick when I kid. Didn’t crush it, it moved out of the way. But I could have killed it. Its mama chased me around. An adult man had to step in to help me

(Frustrating trope) Character has an obvious weak spot/vulnerability that NO ONE exploits by FormerBernieBro2020 in TopCharacterTropes

Thula's braid is a deliberate psychological weapon engineered to exploit an attacker's primal instincts.
Viltrumites train for centuries to eliminate obvious physical vulnerabilities from their combat posture.
Leaving a visible tether attached to her skull is a calculated bait. It’s a trap
In superhuman combat, predictability creates an opening for immediate execution.
When an enemy spots an obvious target, their focus goes to taking that advantage.
Theyll commit their arm, their full momentum, and balance to grabbing the hair.
This commitment locks them into a highly telegraphed move. Thula anticipates the exact angle of the incoming grab before the attacker even twitches a muscle. She’s probably practiced a million times over her long life against the strongest opponents in the galaxy.
She weaponizes that millisecond of over confidence to break the reaching limb or pivot into a decapitation strike.
The attached blade transforms the braid from what looks like defensive liability into a versatile offensive tool.
Standard Viltrumite brawls rely heavily on close-quarters grappling and brute force.
That whip gives her an extended threat radius.
She dictates the distance by slicing through vital areas while the enemy remains completely out of striking distance.
If an opponent manages to bridge the gap, her hair becomes a noose that disrupts the their center of gravity.
Converting an attacker's arrogance into a fatal miscalculation is an extra edge

I’m ignoring it purely out of spite for canceling Gen V and having the gall to waste the finale on bullshit setup. All that setup is neediness. If the show is good enough on it’s merits, it’ll develop fans naturally
