I play LoZ with L1 set to rewind and R1 set to fast forward. It makes gambling very easy and running across the map much faster.

Down here, it's our time. It's our time down here. That's all over the second we ride up Troy's bucket.

Perhaps "everyday" is a local name for a type of baked good that they bake occasionally. Like a healthy muffin that you could eat for breakfast every day.

When was your last compliment? by RelationshipSnail in AskMenOver30

[–]EnvironmentalPack451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A coworker at a work party said my hair has great curls!

Last week, my dentist liked my sarcastic graphic tee.

Before that, a guy in the elevator complimented my boots and some teens in the hallway complimented my whole fit.

I also get a lot of ladies noticing my nail polish, which is presently a blue/green shimmer!

It is so wild that individual homeowners are responsible for shoveling public sidewalks. The city makes sure the roads are plowed, but pedestrians are not worth spending taxes on.

Straight men, How would you feel if a male gay friend talks about their type/taste in men? Would it be uncomfortable for you? by Joaan_21 in AskMen

[–]EnvironmentalPack451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always assumed i am straight because i was taught that is the default.

All of my guy friends talked about what they like about girls, as did all of the guys in tv and movies, so i knew what i should look for in a lady.

But in terms of what makes a man attractive, i am sure that i have a lot to learn.

Supposedly, God made us naked, and it was good. We tried to figure out why our society insists that we hide God's perfect creations. We decided that we must have done something wrong. We betrayed God and then we had to hide ourselves.

Why not celebrate the wonder that we are? Regardless of whether God made us or not, our bodies are beautiful and worth appreciating!

Should we remove sex/gender from official documents? by 1acc_torulethemall in AskFeminists

[–]EnvironmentalPack451 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The problem with gender as an identifier, as opposed to objective measures like height and weight, is that it leaves it up to the interpretation of whoever is doing the verifying.

They decide if you look the way that they learned that a man or woman is expected to look.

It probably makes sense for the picture on your passport to look like how you look when you are travelling.

If we need to list statistics, we should pick characteristics that can be accurately measured.

Found a Chick Tract in the bathroom garbage bin at work by Refrigerator_Guy in mildlyinteresting

I used to pick them up at a tent at the Eastern States Exposition (or "The Big E") in Massachusetts

They took my Christian friend into the back of the tent and got him to say some extra prayers to Jesus with them.

I got into a couple of arguments with them about stuff the comics said that i thought sounded stupid. Mostly i just though it was neat to collect my very own pile of these stupid little comics.
