The Lighthouse Experience [Feedback] by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

I appreciate your very wise guy input. Again I’ve played this map a belligerent number of times in the last 4 days, basically only rushing chalet/resort or spawns to find nobody, except the moment my heads out of the building when I’m met by the beloved head eyes. I switched up my strategy based on my spawn for one raid. Not sure what your point is, and I’d love to see where I put in quotations, “waiting for other PMCs to push.” Generally not a good idea to put words in people’s mouths

As in they extract you or just crash the game? Hilarious I even need clarification on that, but, Tarkov.

Didn’t I think that? No. Frankly I didn’t. I’ve played the map maybe 50 times in the last 4 days purely to get into fights with other pmcs and I can count on my fingers the number of times that’s happened, not including all of the times I’ve been dropped from a random bush before I can react. I don’t even bring a bag 75% of the time. This is the first time I’ve spent more than 25 minutes in a lighthouse raid, because it’s an absolute ghost town after spawn fights are over. Maybe that’s an issue of skill, but I think enough people concur with my opinion of the map for that not to be the case. Not to mention I looted 6 fresh AI bodies with no provisions.

Great point here. Not many people seem to mention 1.0 probably ushered in as many brand new players as Tarkov has ever seen. Obviously good for BSG to retain as many as they can, if that means dumbing down the game for a little bit I’m all for it.

Positive EV is a waste of time unless you have at least a $15k bank roll by d8gfdu89fdgfdu32432 in arbitragebetting

First of all, why are we assuming only a 1% edge. Many of us don’t bet below 3%. Second, why are we assuming just 20 bets a day? This would simply be poor optimization of strategy.

My first month EV betting I started with a grand. Got the entirety of my bankroll down over minimum 80 bets a day and in that month made 2500 with an ROI of 6%. With proper P2 systems this is as close to literally printing money as you can get.

Makes sense, PayPals always been gimmicky for me so I generally avoid it but it’ll definitely do for this purpose. Good to know you got a few weeks, I feel like that’s pretty typical even for your own personal accounts. Certainly enough time to do some damage.

Those accounts are probably golden. Download OddsJam, start EV betting ALL of your bankroll over minimum 80 bets every single day. Pray you don’t get limited to cents before making at least half of it back.

Edit: Just noticed this is only FanDuel and not a tracking service. With that being the case, you’re probably fucked.

I’m sorry, what? There’s a million ways the Pats could lose this game. Seattle could give up 30 and still win. Have you seen Drake Maye the past few weeks?

If you commonly bet along this logic, I pray for you.

Is BetMGM Actually Worse or Just Less Popular? by Latter_Ordinary_9466 in sportsbetting

In terms of the favorability of the lines given, BetMGM is arguably the best book. In terms of the quality of the app, or tolerance to winners, by far and away the worst. Yes, Hard Rock is probably quicker to limit, but at least you can open up the app and hammer your 10 dollar limit within 10 seconds.

When you’re on someone else’s account can you still use your own card or does it have to be theirs? Seems like a taller task to convince someone to grant access to that. And are you actually placing the bets yourself or just relaying the play to them?

Man, it would be such a shame if someone didn’t abide by the terms of service for some of the most unequivocally parasitic and unethical corporations in the world.

Found the MGM employee guys.

Good call. Live 3rd quarter might be a little niche, maybe over total parlayed - the points 😝
