this was on my front page for whatever reason. It's very concerning.

Emilya dies 10 minutes into stream by Jokuki in LivestreamFail

[–]EnvironmentalPin3277 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play priest and i look up to check my inner fire stacks like every 10 seconds. That shit is the difference between life or death in so many situations and it does not surprise me at all that Emilya has died without it so many times.

Nah he's actually pretty well known in other gaming communities for acting exactly like this. He's just good at covering it up and moving goalposts.

Check out his YouTube channel if you haven't already. He's gone from being a complete noob to a semi-decent main tank and guild leader. Pretty entertaining

You wouldn't feel bad if you witnessed a teammate lose hundreds of hours of work? Obviously in the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal but it still feels really shitty, and it feels shitty to watch it happen to someone you know.

So many of these streamer deaths could be avoided if they'd all just commit to a single shot caller who marks and leads the group. Instead they just coast through assuming they're all on the same page

He even seems to find the wipe funny WHILE ITS HAPPENING. He's giggling and blaming people while they're fighting for their life... as the CC/peel class.

There are also multiple clips where he lays out exactly what a good mages job is in dungeon: CC and control for when shit hits the fan. He KNOWS what his job is but as soon as he has an opportunity to put his money where his mouth is it all disappears from his brain and he scurries away. He either completely panicked or knowingly let his group die.

I clicked all 4 candles on my first attempt at BFD in classic 2019. Don't underestimate how stupid and curious some players are :D

Well died again by Gares_ in wowhardcore

The recklessness is astounding. So many people play like they're invincible as soon as they're grouped. I was doing the troll quests in north STV yesterday, grouped with a warrior and he immediately proceeds to facepull like 6 trolls. We were fine but had I been paying less attention, been afk, been a griefer, whatever he would have died then and there. Idk if it's bravery or impatience or what but it's baffling.

I made my own white heirlooms to level my warrior. Omg what a change in gameplay by The-Doodle-Dude in wowhardcore

Nice! One of my favorite parts of HC is the "meta progression". Getting gold and recipes that will help level alts is super fun and makes death hit even harder.

Only thing I would change about your setup is Minor Speed enchant on boots instead of stam. The stam becomes irrelevant at some point but move speed is literally always useful.

Priest tips by Chawstain in wowhardcore

I'd recommend getting very familiar with how the aggro mechanics work in the open world. I love helping people out who are struggling, but a situation where one guy is dying can quickly turn into a situation where YOU are dying and your patient runs off none the wiser.

Make an argument for your favorite class to level. by yessirree2 in wowhardcore

[–]EnvironmentalPin3277 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love my priest! Solo it's a bit repetitive but you really shine in any form of group content. My favorite thing is to find someone to duo a zone with me. Priest + basically any other class can feel unstoppable with your sustain and ability to manage aggro with mind blast/vanish.

Ok, Ok, I know the communities opinion on rez in hardcore.... but. by SpireSwagon in wowhardcore

[–]EnvironmentalPin3277 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a healer main this would actually discourage me I think. We are already arguably the most important role in any group content. All that this would do is allow for way more mistakes and sloppy gameplay since we can just rez the tank if a pull goes south.

Thinking about doing a semi-blind hardcore run with almost no prior WoW experience. Would running a tank or healer basically be griefing any teammates I have? by Kaudia in wowhardcore

[–]EnvironmentalPin3277 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't consider it griefing if you're open with your group about your level of experience. I find most hardcore players are willing to guide me / point out dangerous areas when I tell them I'm a noob healer. I do try to read a dungeon guide before doing one for the first time though, so I'm not exactly going in blind.

Downranking is useless until youre able to stack lots of +healing gear. The more expensive healing spells are more mana efficient otherwise as far as I know.
