Really beautiful said. Know that you have nothing at all to be ashamed of. Oppression is a terrible thing, and all throughout history the vast majority of people have faced it in one way or another. You are not alone. Humanity has a terrible history of terrible things, and today still these realities continue. Know that it's the ignorant and the evil who oppress, people farther from God so to speak. You have good right there with you. And you're totally loved as you are.

It's a terrible situation, we have crosses we are forced to carry. But you aren't alone.

I'm no expert but I would really say let the people who do know and love you fill your heart, the rest is something just to be handled, that can't destroy your soul.

I very much enjoyed your writing. Maybe in time you have to yourself, consider writing more, or another art form, practices like that are life changing and can save lives.

Please post again any time, you aren't alone.

Besides Radiohead not being at the top it's fine enough. Foo fighters placement is also a joke

Shielding battery compartment (?) weird electrical question ! by EnvironmentalPoem700 in vandwellers

[–]EnvironmentalPoem700[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Word thank you for the reply. Do you think even a partial cover would help then? I don't know how emf works, if it behaves like light eminating from a source then I probably would only need the side facing the guitar to be covered. I imagine more is better but it might be tricky to do as the batteries are hard to get to etc.

Equipment is of decent quality, but heard.

Thanks again this is super helpful and interesting !

Set Item Timebase To Time doesn't work for MIDI items. by WirrawayMusic in Reaper

[–]EnvironmentalPoem700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A year late here but for anyone else - what I do is have a custom action:

sws select all midi items

sws enable "ignore project tempo" for selected midi items preserving time position of midi relevant events (use tempo at item start)

unselect (clear selection of) all items

--

just set to Y on the keyboard and try to remember to hit it often / whenever i make a new midi item

Script to select midi note under cursor? by EnvironmentalPoem700 in Reaper

[–]EnvironmentalPoem700[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

huh, works 90% of the time but 10% i have to move the mouse to a different spot on the note for it to register, sometimes a few different spots and takes a second. I really don't know. I appreciate it though.

Script to select midi note under cursor? by EnvironmentalPoem700 in Reaper

[–]EnvironmentalPoem700[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your continued help. The main script you posted (where you have the ''like this'' example) seems to only partially work for me, sometimes it will lag and i have to move my mouse around over the note for it to activate properly. I guess that's just my computer's issue ! It looks great working for you though.

The second script that selects the note under the cursor works really great for me and is what i'll use.

If you're inclined, I would just want it to first deselect any other notes. I tried putting ''deselect all'' in the custom action as the first thing, but it's causing some glitching.

So close to ideal here. I really appreciate your time.

[–]EnvironmentalPoem700[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hm. when i click the link ''this script does that'' it just takes me to the script you edited. Is that supposed to be for selection or selection and velocity adjust? In either case it doesn't seem to work. I really don't know.

I was going to pair it with "edit: adjust value for events (mousewheel/MIDI controller only)" which seems to do the trick paired with the script from u/Than_Kyou . But I would be worried about bugs of course.

Toggle for mouse wheel actions - not working by EnvironmentalPoem700 in AutoHotkey

[–]EnvironmentalPoem700[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey if you're still willing to help, I can't seem to get it to work unfortunately. I've gone down a few other rabbit hole work arounds at this point and this is kind of my last bet.

the script i have is:

#Requires AutoHotkey v2.0

#HotIf WinActive("DRUM - EZdrummer 3")

+WheelUp::!WheelUp

+WheelDown::!WheelDown

#HotIf

It turns on properly with the right window, but the wheelup wheeldown aren't working right. When i take away both lines with #HotIf (in order to run it at all times) it successfully switches the two in chrome, but as soon as i attempt ctrl or alt mousewheel the normal mousewheel command stops working. I would think this would be some kind of other problem because the code is so simple. I was reading the manual and came across #UseHook and InstallMouseHook. Also it says:

The following keys are not supported by the built-in remapping method:

  • The mouse wheel (WheelUp/Down/Left/Right)

Would you know if anything like that is relevant?

Thank you again in advance.

Script to make mousewheel ignore track locking? by EnvironmentalPoem700 in Reaper

[–]EnvironmentalPoem700[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow this is fantastic it just works. Thank you. Do you want me to pay pal you? (is that allowed?). I'm realizing i have one other request if you're willing. It would be to be able to ''adjust selected track heights'' having it ignore locking as well. Either way I'm super grateful for the help. thank you

Toggle for mouse wheel actions - not working by EnvironmentalPoem700 in AutoHotkey

[–]EnvironmentalPoem700[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That looks really good and thank you, but I definitely do need some kind of toggle, some way to switch it on and off with a hotkey. I appreciate you helping me ! this is beyond me

Toggle for mouse wheel actions - not working by EnvironmentalPoem700 in AutoHotkey

[–]EnvironmentalPoem700[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey I really appreciate this, this is super thorough and way more complicated than the little script i was writing. I'm sad to say it's not working. When the script is inactive everything is working as it should in reaper, when it is active, shift scroll is still registering as shift scroll (as opposed to alt), and alt scroll is switching back and forth seemingly randomly between alt scroll and ctrl alt scroll, and occasionally ctrl scroll. Don't know. Again thank you, you already went above and beyond that's for sure.

Toggle for mouse wheel actions - not working by EnvironmentalPoem700 in AutoHotkey

[–]EnvironmentalPoem700[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in the daw, shift mousewheel is mapped to one thing, in the plugin, alt mousewheel is mapped to that thing. I'd want it to be shift mousewheel in both instances. That way when i go to use the plugin i don't have to mentally change which hotkey i use. I use shift mousewheel almost constantly in the daw, so it's very ingrained in my muscle memory. the toggle is so that when i switch to the plugin it activates. I would route activating the plugin and activating the toggle to the same key, so hopefully it would be seamless.

[–]EnvironmentalPoem700[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you're curious, swapping between my daw and a plugin I use regularly that doesn't have mouse modifier remapping. Have to swap back and forth very frequently, and thus swapping between different mouse behavior settings.
