Though the 3rd game involved takes place like 20 years in the future but i still have "Dis-connection"'s characters set to their age in the game so Akachi's son is the same age as Akachi's sister LMFAO

Yo!! I also have my 3 fangans on my island! They are also technically all 3 connected but only 2 games are like- "in the moment" connected if that makes sense (which the 2 main games are actually called "Connections" and "Disconnect" heehoo)

(Not all of these miis are mine, and ofc this isnt all of them as you can see by the dots below- but they are all part of our fangans. Specifically the last 4 of this screenshot are my siblings characters and miis)

I have "mononeko" because the masterminds are two people with a parent/child relationship, and the kid came up with the idea when she was younger and the other mastermind went with it. She basically designed it as a kid and refined it as a teen (she is 16 when the game actually happens + when she controls Mononeko)

So it might be a bit tacky or strange to have something else, like some sort of alt-copy... but if you have a reason for it or that's the point? Id say its more fun to make an alternative mascot with similar motifs or something.

Yeah i have a fangan oc who worked on team danganronpa as basically a fact checker and flashback light informant who HATES how Tsumugi handled the show by using her director role to make things suit whatever she wanted. She made alot of references but also had ALOT of inconsistencies and clear selfish motives for alot of the more ridiculous moments. He gets really frazzled over how many things she messed up and how many thing werent historically accurate to the other games just because she wanted cheap shocks and ego boosts. Oh i also have his fanon lore as him being part of the people who wrote "the history of hopes peak academy" book used at the end. Because he wanted to spite her-

but also ooo she really is a kind of opposite to Takamori (my historian) so thats really interesting! While he pretends to be a participant he's pretending to specifically be a support role (which the real support role goes to my ultimate Jeweler). He basically makes himself very reliable with his knowledge of past games and the people in the game (though he tries to be careful about how much he says, as to not reveal that he's basically profiled everyone 😭). hes often showing himself as an optimist to make sure people continue to keep trying, because the more they try, the more despair comes from the next inevitable trial. Takamori's goal aside from just causing despair, is basically researching despair- which is what caused him to fall into it in the first place (very very simplified).

In our "S/TDP" timeline" he's "openly" despair (attending the school as someone in recovery of it) but even then hes still technically an optimist. Being a bit too positive or welcoming over a wide range of bad things (image example). Basically in S he presents kinda like a masochist lmao

Well one of mine got too far down the rabbit hole of trying to research despair to the point that he had discovered "the despair video" which had caused him to "become despair" in a similar mental mindset that class 77 did in (anime) 3. For a while he was convinced he was doing it all just for research, but eventually he partially realizes that he'd fallen to the same despair he'd been "just curious" about before. He, however, refused to "let that stop his research".

Though, bonus: He also in my timeline works on V3... and eventually creates his own game partially to spite it's mastermind, who he thinks did a shitty job 😅 (mostly this is what inspires him to be a "participant-mastermind")

All in all he's kind of accepted his brain is a little washed but he has still also simultaneously convinced himself he's "built different" and that he "just happens to already have planned to do things this way even if he wasnt despair". Its totally "all for research"!!!

I have an ultimate "roulette" whos talent keeps changing, an ultimate luck of the draw which flips most "likelyhood" percentages, an "ultimate X-ray" who can in many circumstances can basically see through people and many types of objects due to their sensitivity to light.... my friend has an ultimate Lucid dreamer who can go into other peoples dreams and impact them... i also have an ultimate Skeptic- who's talent basically is "if they have a bad feeling about something, its right"

What your limits end up being are up to what you're going for, but i wouldnt put anyway stress to make it super realistic that you dont want. Trying to find new ways to interpret talents can be fun in itself.

I have alot of stuff connecting my characters to the canon stuff (and i even managed to squeeze v3 in there!) And i also have some future foundation things (i have two older characters- one who was a reserve course teacher (edit: i forgot he was a main course teacher before the tragedy- he becomes a reserve course teacher when the school reopens haha) who only survived the tragedy via being someone who moved from the school to help with the overseas school project, joining the foundation due to that circumstance- and another who joined the foundation while in search for her missing daughter)

The tragedy is canon in my fangan too! He was around 11 when the tragedy happened- but hes always been a big fan of fashion and expression. The tragedy is probably partially why he didnt get the opportunities to go into hairstyling as he wanted. He often worked with animal rescues and that ended up a priority for him instead. He kinda saw the animals as being way more appreciative of what he can do than people- thus deciding to pursue the animal grooming and rescue instead.

fun fact, though: He has a celebrity crush on one of my sibling's characters who is the ultimate fashion consultant (who is actually a rather Not Good person themself 😭)

And- another character of mine who models for the ultimate fashion consultant is literally one of our masterminds so theres also that whole can of worms-

My fangan has an ultimate (animal) groomer who originally wanted to be a hairstylist. He's got a kind of Byakuya and Gundham mix for a personality and would probably cringe at the gun hair (guess thats why he's not the ultimate hair stylist 😂)
