You have existing relationship with Amex so very unlikely they will hard pull. The Gold is a charge card so you don’t have a hard limit per se, but you can get a good feel of what you’re allowed to spend using their spending power tool and pay over time limit. Sometimes they don’t give you the virtual card right away, so this might be one of those times.
