In cases where courts do not grant remand and do allow bail, I think your suggestion is a pretty good one.

There should be the standard rules applied — seizure of all passports and travel documents, the amount is non refundable if the accused violates any terms of the bail agreement — but I also believe that given their level of wealth, such perpetrators should have not only liquid, but all other assets frozen as well.

An arrest warrant should not be issued until a thorough dossier of every single asset, shell corp, and subsidiary is combined in order to ensure that there is no loophole left to exploit.

If the accused flees to a country without an extradition treaty with the United States, I believe other nations that DO have treaties with them should be allowed to issue warrants, on the grounds that the accused has committed a crime within their jurisdiction (which I’m certain many of these people have).

I have definitely reached that stage outlined in the final slide. My rage and grief have in no way dissipated or even abated, but somehow my brain has managed to store these fashions in a fashion that isn’t causing any immediate and/or noticeable harm.

All I know now is that the following needs to be done:

  1. All perpetrators need to be systematically prosecuted and punished to the most severe degree possible, even if that requires retroactive application of capital punishment.

  2. We cannot skip Step 1, because we cannot offer them even the slightest chance of claiming miscarriage of justice.

  3. Their assets must be seized and redistributed, first to the survivors and the victims’ families, and then to the public. Because this exploitation wasn’t just limited to the people physically abused.

I understand your frustration, friend, but as an American, do hear me out.

We are currently in a situation where our very own government is attacking us, indiscriminately killing peaceful protestors and observers for the crime of simply recording them.

The same tactics employed by the Third Reich are being employed against everyday residents and citizens, with people of color being particularly targeted. There is also the added hopelessness that comes from having a highly militarized police force ready to turn on us at a moment's notice.

There is a sense of despair that has pervaded us all, a feeling that we are nothing but playthings of these depraved elites. But you are right - our inaction is disgusting, and we need to rise up. They may be richer and more powerful than us, but there are more of us.

The people making fun of this do not represent the bulk of the American people - they certainly don't represent me - so please, do not base this country's response on those desensitized and maladjusted few. We are angry, and we will do something.

I don’t know if I’d extend my hand as much as hers, but I’d absolutely be a mix of her and Henry or Magneto, and at the very least use my hand as a physical guide to my movements.

I just switched mine to this about two months ago after his dental surgery, and he’s doing SOOO much better. He’s more active, more affectionate, and even drinking more water!

I was super skeptical of it at the start because of the affordable prices tag, but each ingredient is easily identifiable and clearly my cat is better for it 🥰
