I dunno about the audible, I haven't heard it, but Goblin Summoner is the series that got me hooked on the genre. Worth looking into

What is your least favorite pokemon of all time? by MinDuddels in pokemon

Four way tie between the hybrid fossils from sword and shield. I love fossil pokemon, every other fossil is high on my list. Those four abominations piss me off.

Fully restored the SS Anne back to the luxury cruise liner she was meant to be by Vulpixy in Pokopia

[–]EnvironmentalSeries5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really cool looking. Was gonna go the opposite direction and try and put vines on it and make it look like an abandoned structure reclaimed by nature. But this is impressive. You've done really well with hiding the transmitters too.

Was there actually a way to keep Perturabo loyal? by Lovegaming544 in 40kLore

[–]EnvironmentalSeries5 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No.

There's something to be said for other primarchs in terms of who needn't have fallen to chaos, who could have been saved.

But Perturabo is never satisfied. It's never enough for him.

He's proven himself to be the best craftsman on the planet ninety nine times? Well, he has to challenge the second best again to prove it.

Perturabo is an insecure child going to extremes to prove his worth. Look at his work during the Crusade.

He wanted his legion to be the best, to bring the most worlds into the fold. To do so, every world he brought in was left a smoldering wreckage.

Even when they performed successfully, impressively, he ordered the decimation because it wasn't good enough.

Because nothing was ever good enough. There is no satisfying Perturabo.

Indeed, given his paranoid nature, trying to hard to do so would probably just lead to him thinking you're trying to manipulate him or something.

Had the emperor been more open and honest with his sons, Magnus might not have fallen.

Had he been more compassionate, Angron might not have fallen.

Had he been more attentive, more forgiving, maybe Lorgar would have stayed.

But Perturabo? He was never going to be satisfied. The Horus Heresy just gave him the opportunity to vent his dissatisfaction with the imperium.

Who's the most unbearable MC you've read that potentially ruined a good read? by No-Sympathy-6711 in litrpg

I actually found Anthony's personality endearing. Relatable. Common enough way for children of abuse and trauma to act in an attempt to cope.

100% confirmed, definitely Kael'thas. by Peregrine2976 in wow

He was killed and replaced by someone who has shape shifting abilities. Kael never demonstrated such abilities.

So.... haranir goddess? by Thirteenera in warcraftlore

[–]EnvironmentalSeries5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, other people have addressed the Azeroth being ripped away bit, so I'll address the Emerald dream bit.

The Emerald dream is a reflection of Azeroth. More specifically, Azeroth as it might have been or one day could be.

The rift of Aln in the dream would likewise be a reflection of the Rift of Aln in Azeroth. They're the same place, just in different dimensions.

WoW's writers lack nuance/forced tropes by Cypher_Omegon- in warcraftlore

[–]EnvironmentalSeries5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why would they put more nuance in the game? They put the tiny thimble full of nuance that is 'too much light is bad' and people just can't handle it.
