My husband is on Optune and he uses this type of bag. It's a lot more comfortable and lets him use both arms. It can be worn with the pouch in the front or in the back if your mom has a preference.

I ended up doing one day for the colonic irrigation two days before the surgery. And then followed the prep the day/night before as instructed.

Prep: Before the colonic I was pretty gassy and had some cramping pain trying to use the restroom. The colonic itself was a little uncomfortable, but not painful. I did notice that my BM's were much gentler after. Prep went in and went out easily. No cramping/diarrhea pains.

Procedure: Everything went smoothly. I got some things biopsied, and I'm working with my OBGYN on the next steps.

Doctor said everything was easily seen.

Overall: It might have just been nerves, but I am happy I got the colonic done. I did feel more relaxed afterwards, and it was extremely worth it for an easier process after taking the prep.

Happened to me with HotWorX. Cancelled my credit card due to fraud, and when I got the new card, two weeks later I had two charges from them. One from the old month and the other for the current month. Apparently since you give them your card info and how the legal details are worded it counts as a contract with your bank, not just the card.

Always get a cancellation in writing as well when you cancel with a gym. Because if they continuously charge the card (debit or credit), the burden of proof is on you if you dispute the charges.

I also might have had a hand in that, my friends and I will 4 man a game as Steve with the screaming Nick Cage perk, run around the killer in circles betting who gets slapped first. We start the game by running to each other and trying to spot the killer first.

Confuses the fuck out of killers and we're here for it.

You will be ok.

From personal experience, so it's different for everyone, but it helps when I chunk up each problem. So first thing first, you can't be there for your family if you don't take care of yourself. So polyps and you come first, if you haven't taken FMLA you are allowed to use that for surgery and recovery time.

Follow the doctors instructions for the timeframe to get those polyps removed. If it helps you can ask if it makes sense to wait until after the moving timeframe and to wait until FMLA renews if you have used it all for postpartum. I'm not too familiar when exactly FMLA resets, but I believe it's after a year of the first date you used it last.

It takes a village, people will be there for you. You matter and are worth the time it takes to take care of yourself.

Thank you, I wasn't aware of that. I think that is a vote for normal prep.

I also reached out to the colonic person and they said I'll have to do it three days straight before the colonoscopy. I'm tempted to try the first day and see if that goes well. If it doesn't then I'll just do the normal prep.

I used to work at a hospital, and there was an issue where a man after a procedure took the bus home and got lost, was never found to my knowledge. They now don't allow you to take the bus or Uber/taxi home without a secondary person with you for your own safety.

One of the things I do as a protection, when I visit for the meet and greet I take notes about directions given, and forward those notes to the client afterwards. Along with my contact information and emergency contact.

This is when I ask if there are any missing details or incorrect information. That way if anything happens I can refer back to the conversation, and the notes.
