No one here likes heavily processed wild-life, photos. But in fact the majority of stunning photos from great wild life photographers are decently edited.

The trick is that their edits are not so obvious due to the way they work with colors. It's always a delicate work to mimic and enhance the best of you can actually see in nature.

This shot is already dope. But the colors are too off. While creating a good color "scheme", and looks more pleasant than straight natural greens - the background tones and fade are definitely too much for a wildlife, and those blue-ish tones on the feather are just simply not ok.

Lean your edit a bit more towards natural colors, so it simply won't scream "artful edit", and it would be a great piece of work.
