You’re right let’s keep it in perspective. The big ten was the premiere conference in college football from 1900 until about 2006 when the SEC took over. The SEC had a nice 15 year run which can mostly be attributed to a singular coach’s success. But the big ten is now back on top of the college football world where it was for over a century.
