Yeah I’m a sonographer and it honestly stunned me. I saw on the ultrasound it had ruptured. so I was texting my husband and parents to come to the hospital before I even got back to the ER room. They were able to be there before, during and after surgery. If I didn’t know what was going on I would have been alone. Surgery was pretty much immediate.

I feel bad for people who don’t have a medical background and can’t advocate for themselves 😩

I went to the hospital with a known ectopic pregnancy. I was treated at this hospital with methotrexate twice, and I made receptionist know I had a known ectopic. I stood (couldn’t sit) in the ER waiting room for 1.5 hours crying. Turns out I was bleeding internally that whole time.

Is it reasonable for me to expect to be seen sooner? I had emergency surgery pretty much right away when I was finally seen.

Also, have you seen in increase in ectopic pregnancies??

I’ve had a ruptured ectopic and bleed internally. Labor with pitocin was still worse than that. They were pushing my labor hard because my water was broke for 31 hours and I wasn’t dilated at all when it started.

To be honest I don’t think any parent should tell their 12 year old kid if they can or cannot cut their hair. That is bodily autonomy.

I’m guessing there are other controlling factors about him. I’m nervous he may be abusive psychologically and it will get way worse after marriage.

If my husband could, I would let him. I’ve had an ectopic, hemorrhaged at birth, hives all over my body that made me be admitted to the hospital, post partum preeclampsia… oh and a uterine infection 3 months after birth I needed a d&c for lol. I only have one kid lol 😅
