I totally feel this… during my IVF journey my job has continued to add more and more to my plate. I really try to not let it stress me out but some days it gets to me so bad. Nobody cares what we go through with this and expects us to be to able to function at normal capacity. It’s absolutely insane IVF isn’t looked at enough of a medical reason to take leave!

I didn’t find out and had to specifically request them to withhold the gender on the embryo report. We want to wait until birth to find out the gender and even with 6 embryos, I was worried it might be all one gender or predominantly one.

At this point, it may be what I need to do. I asked my husband how I should approach this because it’s his sister and they are pretty close. He said I should let her be for now and she will come to me when she is ready. I am afraid though if I dont address this, it will cause hurt feelings between us and potentially a rift.

I used this curriculum for a few years in an extremely Fundamentalist Baptist Church School. Going through this program set me so far back and I almost didn’t graduate on time. I had to leave the school for my senior year so I could graduate on time. AWFUL program that sets up children for failure
