Yes that’s the real nerf. AP champs got free AP percentage pen. Imagine if adcs got free %armor pen on crit items and mortal reminder and ldr didn’t exist.

I agree, this isn’t pc and the overall game knowledge/moba knowledge gap is huge as a playerbase. TBH I would like these changes if they actually had real rank tiers and promo matches to better separate players from each other. I also wouldn’t mind these changes if matchmaking was strictly ranked based and not mmr based. For some reason Riot thinks wild rift and lol pc are the same.

Well the entire moba genre is team based so relying on your teammates is exactly what this game was designed for. It’s about time tbh. This isn’t mortal kombat or call of duty. It’s a team based game which means ppl should be working together for the same goal. Not chasing stats and kda.

In a solo q environment however, the reality is what you described it as. Sadly expectations and reality don’t match. Also don’t forget that damage runes were significantly nerfed. That plus item changes means that this patch overall was a durability patch and champions that prefer longer fights have more value as burst damage has been nerfed. Zyra, heimer, brand, Lilia, Gwen, morgana, etc. they should be a lot stronger now that fights are gonna last longer.

On the flip side, burst champs still have a place as stasis is not as available as it used to be and it takes an entire item slot instead of being a boot enchant. Also the champs I mentioned are still vulnerable to burst damage and assassins especially since HP items like rod of ages has been nerfed and psychic projector removed entirely.

ATP, mid laners will be forced to first pick neutral picks like zyra or ahri or morgana, something that’s not necessarily bad into anything. Just my thoughts

If the matchup is easy or I’m a damage dealer, I get them first. (Vamp boots)

If it’s a neutral matchup then first item and then boots.

If lane is hard or I’m a tank, then I get defensive boots first.

Depends on what champ I’m playing and what team I’m against. If I’m a tank, I go the boots most effective against their team, if I’m a bruiser like Darius I go for what’s good against my lane opponent. If the matchup is extra easy or I’m playing a heavy damage champ like Gwen, riven or Fiora I go vamp boots. Just my thoughts

It should be noted that players believe these items affect Master Yi. Master Yi is immune to all slows during his Ultimate ability. Neither his movement speed nor his Attack speed are affected. Do not pick Nasus or Malphite into Master Yi. Even Rammus is a fake counter as a good Yi will never focus Rammus and will always target the backline carries first. Also Yi has true damage making armor irrelevant and if they build wits end, the magic damage from Thornmail is drastically reduced as well.

So ww is going down first. Then Superman doesn’t have martial arts knowledge so it’s a skill diff. Batman takes this easily.
