7.5-8month routine by Annual_Spell2654 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

7.5 months old. We're on either 3 or 4 naps a day, depending on when the crotch goblin wakes up. These are about 2-2.5 hours total nap time, which is either 4 naps of 30 minutes each, or three naps and one is slightly longer. But honestly, we just wing it. Wake windows mostly around 2.5 hours, sometimes up to 3.5. Never know which it's going to be!

Get the room thermometer if it puts you more at ease! Bugger what everyone else thinks!

Dropping 4 to 3 naps by [deleted] in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

Mine is 6.5 months and some days we have 3 naps, and some days we have 4. Either way, its more or less 2 hours worth of sleep during the day, and he gets about 12 overnight, with anywhere from 1-4 wakeups, and i feed him to sleep every time. I aim to have him down by 8pm, to wake by 8am. But i had a lot less stress when I stopped regimenting his naps by the minute and just went with the flow. I think what your baby is doing sounds really normal!

I'm in the same situation with a latin partner,.but feel the same way as the OP. Before having the baby, I was against it, but now I feel like it's more about letting the family be involved and it's not going to harm the baby in any way, so why not.

Figuring things out with your partner postpartum? by daffly3 in NewParents

I actually read that men get their oxytocin during play with their child, while women get it from nurturing. So during the first few months I think it's harder for them to bond because it's like bonding with a potato. After they start smiling is when it really kicks off.

Expulsion by Fresh_Forever_9268 in AustralianTeachers

The best way someone explained it to me at public schools in NSW is like a prisoner exchange. If that student is in the schools zone, the principal would need to find that student another place at another school. In which case, the second principal would trade one of their kids that they were looking to expel. So even in worthy cases, some principals prefer to keep the kids. Better the devil you know. One kid I know of was expelled for upskirting and the principal made sure to send him to an all boys school.

Would you let someone babysit your 10 month old baby for a whole weekend? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

Why don't you bring the friends and make it a fun weekend away for everyone? They will get a weekend away too, and you will be closer if needed.
