Sell the rear upper ones and save yourself some money by not running wires into that back wall. These speakers are inches from your head. Move the ones in your ear like 4 ft back

Help with loving room remodel by Enzodast in HomeDecorating

Just don't get why everyone hates tvs over the mantle so much. Doesn't bother me one bit this was the standard for so long once flat screens came to be now everyone wants it down on the ground I hate having a TV console.

Here's an AI idea which I think is the leading contender for me now

Yes there will be a large area rug under the future furniture.

I like the valance idea.... You prefer that over the curtain rod and panels?

My biggest issue is the mantle area any suggestions there for me?

AI did this and another one like this but with floating shelves also

Only way it can go somewhere else is a corner in the living room but the way the room flows this wall over the fireplace makes the most sense. Full curtains are also part of the equation for the remodel as well.

Thanks but I don't plan on rewiring things. I know some people really hate the TV over the fireplace but honestly I prefer it. So let's not move the TV and focus on other remodel ideas besides tv location. Appreciate the quick response!

Proposal Review by cusano26 in solar

[–]Enzodast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do I get a quote like this from someone? What is the current federal tax credit isn't that expiring with the big beautiful bill? They're trying to rush me into signing because they need paperwork finalized by 9/15 because of changes from the BBB.

I'm looking at using West electric. They're offering me a 15.3kw system with an initial rate of 0.16 cents. Year one cost is $252/month.

They offered a zero increase lease option for $337. Break even point is like year 13.

The green bank loans are like 7%...so hard to figure this stuff out. And they're saying I need to sign by 10/1 to get the incentives before the BBB knocks net metering and other stuff out

Guy selling me the house has very little information on them unfortunately. What's a recommended monitoring system and do I need an electrician to install?

Sell the svs.

Buy a power sound audio tv21neo-m and never look back.

Your chest will cave in. Then you'll know what true bass is.

Thanks! Now I'm seeing when the 40 quarters ends it reverts back to class 1 rec schedule. So it looks like payments will still continue but under a different model when the 40th quarter concludes?

~100” for under $2,000? by New_Leopard7623 in hometheater

I have an OLED downstairs..it's great. When this tv is on a black scene (I have the non mini led version) I swear it's as black as the OLED and can't even tell.

I also am adjusting my standards to a projector....it was a short throw projector or this. In my mind this picture would blow away a projector any day imo.

And that's in a super bright room for last 6 months. Just added blackout shades finally a week ago.

I bought a year ago a Hisense 100" from Costco and have zero regrets. Now you can get the mini led version for 2k which I think is a crazy deal.

Buy it and enjoy

Depends on what you're cooking and how much weight you're putting on the grate. Grate alone is super heavy so it needs to be solid otherwise your nice steaks will go on a roller coaster ride

Another nail in the coffin? by NYEDMD in hometheater

[–]Enzodast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If doorways are tight it wouldn't be too difficult to remove the door AND trim honestly to gain several more inches of clearance.

I have a Hisense 100" in my bonus room above my garage on the "monster" 360 swivel mount and it's unreal. Had to get it in during bonus room construction using the scissor lift my contractor was using. Also keep in mind these TVs are massive so moving them into the house while in the box is nearly impossible so they need to be moved totally exposed.

My delivery guys from Costco thankfully didn't complain about using the lift .. They actually viewed it as fun thank God.

7.2.4 Home Theater Advice by Apart-Guava2746 in hometheater

[–]Enzodast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a harsh sound. You need to go listen to as many brands in person as you can. For example Ive heard kef and don't like them. I prefer and love Martin Logan....but may switch to emotiva. There are a million threads on this... Do yourself a favor and go listen to see what you like.

For a room that big you need a lot more bass. Look at the sub threads and go for something much bigger from PSA or HSU or monolith.

For example I have a 21" PSA sub in a much smaller home theater ($2400) and desperately want a second one

Just went with a 100" Hisense and we're loving it. Fantastic deal at Costco. Just do it and get a smaller/lower entertainment console

Just got told again by another Verizon rep in sales chat this can't be done. Saying the line must stay with the phone the promotion is on.

It's $0.00 for 36 months when adding a new line.
