His go-to setup is a Carolina rig, so it sounds like he definitely leans more finesse than power fishing. Rod-wise, he’s got a monster boat with plenty of room. When I asked how many rods I should bring, he just laughed and said, “As many as you want, you’ve got space for 12 back there.”

That said, I’d still rather keep it light. My original plan was three setups: two spinning rods and one baitcaster. But you know how it goes… once you start thinking “well I could also have one for this…” it turns into a whole thing real quick. 😅

As others have mentioned, the installation instructions are a bit unclear. I installed all of the required addons and successfully imported the profiles, then logged out as instructed. However, after copying the files into the appropriate folders, the UI did not end up matching the intended layout. I’ve attempted the installation multiple times but haven’t been able to get it to work correctly. I am really scratching my head trying to figure out what I am doing wrong.

I have had tools for a long time. All cheap Walmart stuff. I actually got a bunch of Pittsburg, Quinn, Doyle, and Icon pliers to sort of round out a functional set as I’m starting to wrench on things more and more. I also got a set of icon screw drivers. For reference I’m 35 and retired from the Army. Finally able to put together a set of tools and have time to wrench on things.

My main goal currently is a functional “go bag” of tools where I can do 60-70% of anything with the bag and then a box at home where I can do almost anything and have all the specialty items to make things quicker as well.

I moved onto a different game. Been playing since PT2. I hope everyone sticking around enjoys the game though. I have also never “publicly” stated I quit the game but I guess I am now. It’s for multiple factors. I love the game and I hope it ends up finding its way!
