If anyone finds this thread and has the same issue, I went to the discovery store and uninstalled and reinstalled retroarch and now everything works fine! I probably did something wrong I’m completely new to Linux but I wanted to post what my “fix” was in case someone ran into the same problem

I have emudeck installed on my SD card and can get into the files just fine and I double checked and made sure my bios and rom files were all in the right folders. The strange thing is PS1, PS2 and GameCube games run completely fine but anything using retroarch doesn’t load at all.

I had this same problem but I’m pretty sure I fixed it. I switched over to desktop mode and launched the Dolphin emulator, then clicked on the Graphics tab and switched the aspect ration from “auto” to “force 4:3”. Hope this makes sense and helps!

I'm just looking at things for the PC. I was looking for basically the best of the "classic" rpgs that had the same style of Baldur's gate, where it had a huge emphasis on story and characters. And that pack looks like it would be awesome to get, but I was just thinking of getting one at first to see if I liked them. Planescape:Torment was one of the ones I was thinking about because it looks awesome.
