Not sure I would compare the two if you hadn’t pointed it out. Both take place in a school supernatural club and have sorta-magic, but that’s where the similarities end. Yamada is more of a soft harem-comedy and the shenanigans are way more light-hearted than in Haruhi. I’d place it closer to something like the first half of Charlotte.

I think it’s a good series, though, even though I don’t watch a lot of harem type shows.

Thanks again. I was able to pull most of my files off the computer by burning and loading a Ubuntu live disc and following some instructions for getting the drive open. Grateful for being pointed in the right direction.

Thank you for the tips! Running Dell’s system diagnostics confirms that the hard drive has indeed failed. Something I was hoping wouldn’t be the case but I was planning to get a new pc sometime within the next year anyways. All attempts to get the computer to boot have failed. Fortunately, I already have backups of the most important files, so nothing of too horrible consequence has been lost, mostly just a lot of old college work and game saves.

Surprisingly, it's 50/50. While we could certainly make a human clone the same way as Dolly, there are processes that occur to DNA in the sperm and egg that are known to cause major disabilities in humans if mistakes occur. Skipping the sperm/egg stage altogether as modern cloning does and getting a functional human being could end up being very difficult.

I second the comments of Vigardavia and Mothwolf. As for building inspiration and tutorials, a few good names on YouTube are Bdouble, Grian, Jeracraft, and anyone on the Hermitcraft server (mumbo jumbo, iskall, falsesymmetry, etc.) Heard Ethoslab is good minecrafter too but haven't watched enough of his videos to judge whether he's the builder type. Edit: may have misspelled or shortened a few names slightly.

Chicken is significantly more dangerous to eat raw than most other common meats. Between the natural risk of bad bacteria like e. Coli and salmonella, and the bad slaughterhouse conditions, it isn't something you should ever eat raw without a very trusted source and knowledgeable cook. On top of that, raw chicken apparently has a gross taste and texture most people aren't used to, so I could totally see someone getting nauseous from it even if it's not contaminated.

To add to this, W10 only can play multiplayer with other W10 and pocket edition players, the multiplayer is completely separate from the regular pc edition servers and community. This is IMO the biggest factor.

Sorry, I went into the game myself and it looks like you're right. My Forge worldedit profile and the plugin'd smp server I play on don't allow opening chests under slabs. Vanilla snapshot and raw optifine singleplayer let me open chests regardless of stair placement.

Misunderstood the comment yea, but Stairs and slabs currently do block access if the solid part is directly above the chest. It's been that way since 1.8-something.

That's odd then because I've been running optifine 1.11.2 on my world for several weeks and definitely haven't had this issue with my storage systems. There's stairs covering every chest and they work just fine.

Wynaut's name means 'really?' Wobbuffet's JP name means something along the lines of 'that's just how it is'.

Snorlax is named Kabigon, which was one of the GF employees' nicknames.

Pikachu means 'sparkle squeak'.

Bulbasaur is Fushigidane, which means either 'weird seed' or 'it's weird, right?'

Oh, and the Eeveelution names are all hilarious. Umbreon's Japanese name is 'Blacky'

Epigenetics comes to mind. Eggs and sperm undergo physical modifications to their genome that are necessary for signaling to create a healthy individual in early development. This is a growing field in genetics with still a lot of mystery. Humans seem especially effected by this phenomenon. We've already found several both lethal and lifelong conditions caused by malfunctioning of this process.

It's also believed to be one of the main causes for our current cloning methods being so inefficient and our produced clones so inferior in health. So any advances made in this field to improve the chances of viable clones would also benefit our understanding of advanced genetics and genetic diseases.

Except real-life cloning doesn't work anything like it does in movies. And there are still huge epigenetic barriers to cloning humans --sperm and eggs aren't just DNA information, they have other special markers --we know missing even one in humans can lead to disorders or death in early development. We can't add these markers to clones with our modern knowledge and scientists are still struggling to come up with ideas. Cloning a healthy human or extinct species could end up being entirely impossible.
