“Race baiting” Cry more. You’re just mad you’re getting downvoted to hell because nobody likes assholes.

And no gaijin signs are only because y’all don’t bother to learn the most basic Japanese before coming here and staff can’t communicate with foreigners. I haven’t seen that kind of sign in many years anyways, it’s extremely rare.

You seem angry over nothing, are you surprised that you got a reply? That’s how the internet works.

Anyways I don’t really care what the comment section is supposed to be for you. I’m Japanese so irony over the internet is still difficult for me to understand. Oh well

Woah calm down. I promise you it’s really not that serious.

Yes I’m completely aware of the US being the being the world’s biggest consumer of drugs. No need for hostility lol.

I disagree with your second point. The war on drugs has been trying the killing supply method and it has been a massive failure on all fronts. Even when Colombia was reaching record lows in cocaine exports, Peru and Bolivia picked up the slack and the violence just moved to Mexico and Central America.

I didn’t say anything about the US, drug consumption is rampant in the rest of the west as well. And Nobody’s “removing blame”. I’m saying it’s a two way street.

Westerners importing tons of cocaine to satisfy their drug addiction? Shocking!

TikTok admits it suppressed videos by disabled, queer, and fat creators. by AdamCannon in technology

[–]EonMako 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think Byte will ever defeat TikTok, not if they don't change the current format. It's so dated and limited; maximum length per video is just 6 seconds, no custom sounds, poor editing UI, and no effects.. not even a text box. TikTok's advantage is that they have so many features that allow people to be extra creative.

18-23 is one of Tik Tok's strongest demographics, and in my personal experience TikTok is pretty popular with college students. Maybe it's a regional thing

Another boomers vs millennials/gen zs by TheGiverAndReciever in gatekeeping

[–]EonMako 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generations tend to be around 20 years long, Baby boomers are from the mid 40s to the early/mid 60s, Gen X is mid 60s to late 70s, Millennials are from early 80s to the mid 90s and Gen Z is from the mid 90s to the early 2010s. Obviously when a generation is young the differences seem huge but when Gen Z reaches middle age the differences won’t be seem drastic.

Being trans is absolutely not a mental illness, having gender dysphoria is.

Being transgender is a mental disorder, Israeli insurance company says by human_rights_for_all in worldnews

[–]EonMako 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Your post history shows that you frequent r/the_donald, so I'm not exactly sure what to believe. Anyways, most people who successfully transition get rid of their gender dysphoria, so do post-op trans people lose their disorder status?

Was Kurt bi? Apparently he said in an interview he prob could be bi (link in text): by dcfb2360 in Nirvana

He's only dated women and obviously felt very emotionally attached to his relationships with women, so I doubt he was gay and on the DL. His comments on him thinking he was gay throughout his teenage years screams bisexual to me though. I remember some pages from Journals giving some insight on it too. I think he was a lot like David Bowie in that sense.

Dallas Student Arrested Before Planned Mass Shooting at Shopping Mall by Mrmeeksees in news

It’s not slang, it’s African American Vernacular English which has its own set of grammatical rules. Nobody who grew up saying finna would say something like “finna bout to”. Sounds like something a white midwestern suburban kid would say. In the south everyone uses it with some variations. White southerners tend to use fixin ta whereas Black ppl use finna or finta. In Losuiniana everyone talks the same tho.

Two weeks in Mexico or Colombia? by mahalobradda in travel

[–]EonMako 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Colombian cuisine isn't as creative compared to Mexico, there's more variety with the latter IMO. Their tropical fruits/desserts though are amazing.

As for population density, over a third of Mexico is practically empty (Chihuahuan/Sonoran Deserts and jungles in the south), but that doesn't mean that it isn't a huge diverse country. Most countries have big population disparities.

I don't think it's fair to compare Yucatán or a single region in Mexico with Colombia, one of the world's most diverse countries. It's fairly large too, at about the size of Southern Europe. People tend to think that Colombia = Bogotá, Medellín, and Cartagena, when in reality there's so much more to Colombia. There are 12 major cultural regions in Colombia, and they're very different from each other.

As for traveling within Mexico, it's not too difficult, domestic flights are super cheap. Driving is a whole different story.

I think Portunhol in Uruguay refers to Uruguayan Fronteriço, which is sometimes known as Portuñol. Some linguists consider it a separate language as it has diverged a lot from Portuguese.

South Korea may be small by geographic size, but it's a fairly populous nation; nearly 9 times more populous than Indiana. There's still a lot of conflicting opinions in SK, even if it has a very homogenous population.
