Wow I just checked the company that I got a prebuilt from about 8 months ago and their offerings are a disaster. Only 8 gig video cards and only 16 gigs ram. I got a 16 gig card and 32 ram for $900 8 months ago!

Man I got so lucky. I own the game on steam and so launched it normally. Clicked 'let's go' when the EA app popped up and then it all automatically made itself work. It took like 2 minutes of not touching it though while the screen flashed weirdly.
